Fox is usually pretty good at making their shows available on their site.

I loved it! Although maybe I was still on a high from American Idol or maybe it was the fact that I love that Journey song but I will watch it in the fall.

I saw it, and I thought it was fun, but completely predictable.

And Fox touted the fact that the premiere episode will be available online all summer, and oh isn't it convenient that you can download the songs on iTunes? :lmao:

I did. It sucked me in more than I thought it would. I may even download their version of "Don't Stop Believin' " on my iPod. Gotta decide it it's iPod worthy though.

DVR'd it - i am scared to get invested into another show - they keep canceling the ones I watch! Life, Priviledged, Daybreak, and about 5 others in the past three years have been cancelled on me!

I watched it as I was flipping back and forth between that and DWTS. I thought it was really cute.

For the first 10 minutes Kevin and I had to keep pausing it because we were laughing so hard. I was surprised at how funny it was.

I just have this fear that it will turn into High School Musical or Fame.

Why is that a bad thing?

I thought it was pretty good and funny. I like the germophobe teacher and Rachel the star.

I wonder if Rex watched it, it's set in his hometown.

My husband and I loved it. Now, we are "show choir" veterans and now run a local show choir, which we bring to Disney to perform every year. We are also both teachers. I wonder how the show will do with people who are not into theatre, singing, show choir, etc... I really thought it was funny and witty!! Man, can that girl SING!!!
I can't wait for it to start in the fall.

Only caught the last 15 minutes...now I feel the need to download and watch the whole thing. I need a good laugh.

Don't knock Fame, it was one of my favorites, back in the day  Truth be told, I'm not sure I could stomach it now, but from a teen view it was great.

I wasn't going to watch it, but then I couldn't find the remote.....I got sucked in, too! I am wondering, though, is there enough quirkiness, humor, or storyline to keep it going in the fall? I was singing Journey all night, though I loved it!

Show choir vet and music teacher here as well! I found I really identified with much of the show: the kids, the teacher.....Music was my "sport" when I was in school (still is, I guess) and I know what the teacher meant when he said that it's the place where he truly feels like he "belongs".

And I liked that it was wholesome without being cheesy or patronizing.

I hope they let the teacher sing at some point. His name is Matthew Morrison and he's got Broadway cred. :worship:

I watched it and loved it. I thought it was going to be a summer series so I was bummed to see it won't be on until Fall. Trying to decide if I should let my 13 year old watch it. Any thoughts?

Funny story...I told Miranda (the one who thinks Kevin is famous) that I was going to watch this show about a guy who wants to bring the glee club at his high school back to the program it was when he was there. She giggled "Glee club! Their dorks. People make fun of glee clubs." I looked at her and said "Glee club is another name for Show Choir basically." She is totally into choir, drama, etc. She looked at me and said "Oh." End of conversation, now she wants to watch it.

I just watched this tonight and loved it! I was also bummed to hear that this is apparently a tease for the fall, and not the start of a summer series.

I'd let a 13 year old watch it, I think. Was there something that made you think it might not be appropriate? You're the best judge of your own child, but it seemed OK.
