We are taking a trip to London & Paris starting June 21st. We are staying at Sequoia Lodge for 2 nights starting Sunday June 28th and checkingout June 30th. We are taking the first train from London to DLP and we will probably stay till around 5 pm on the 30th before heading to Paris for our next leg of the trip. My question isknowing the amount of time we have at DLP, what are the can't miss attractions and what are the don't bother? Their will be 3 in our group, myself, DW & DD (18), so we will ride anything. Is their any good sources on line for maps and info about the parks, The official website kind of (pardon my French), "Sucks".
We are really looking forward to our trip any suggestions will be appreciated.

There are maps in the FAQ section on here or another good website is Dlrp magic - it has good info on all the rides

It's been a few years since I was last in Disneyland, but for me the biggest must see is the Parade. Its the best time to see all the characters that you love. But get there early, particularly on weekends as it can get quite busy. And watch out for lovely mums and dads who push there kids in front of you or you'll end up 5 from the front!!
Aside from the rides which is kind of a personal choice depending on your thrill seeking level, the Moteurs Stunt Show is pretty cool.

Given many schools are still is session when you come, please do not be surprised if the parks close at 7 when you are here.
For me, if you have been to a Disney park before, the do not misses are:
DLP:
Phantom Manor (almost everything in DLP is different and better than the WDW or DL versions)
Big Thunder Mountain
Adventure Isle
Pirates of the Caribbean
It's a Small World
Laberynth
The Castle and dragon in the Dungeon
Storybook Land (whichever one has the smaller line)
Space Mountain (ours goes upside down and has a synched soundtrack)
The Nautilus
Buzz
(if you have not been to many Disney parks - Star Tours is a must - if you are a Disney regular you can skip it as it is the same as the US, but in French)
the Parade
Studios:
Moteurs Action (if you have not seen this in WDW)
Rock n Roller Coaster
Tower of Terror
Stitch Live
Cinemagique
Crush coaster
I also like Armageddon, but I am in the minority. It is unique to DLP
If going with kids, Animagique is a cute blacklight show.
For dining, if you want signature dining, California Grill and the Steakhouse are sublime. If you are into princesses, Auberge de Cindrillon is very European. If you are a huge Disney fan, Walt's is a do not miss.
My fav overall restaurant for value is the Silver Spur (be warned that European table service meals are often 2 hour experiences).
As americans in Europe, you may also like King Ludwigs in the village as a German restaurant with great wines and beers in a castle setting.
For counter services, Cowboy cookout BBQ and Fuente del Oro (mexican) are my favs, but that is because they are rare options in Europe for us (I am a former Californian).
However, for something a little more different in the budget variety, Pizzeria Bella Notte has pasta and pizza, Toad Hall is English Fish and Chips and there is a Middle Eastern buffet in Adventureland.
Other cool things at the Resort - Buffalo Bill's Wild west show, although expensive, is a do not miss experience. Honestly it was one of my fav things Disney has ever done (I am not keen that this year Mickey and co appear), but as you have not seen it, I am sure you will still enjoy it even with these additions.
Also there is Panaramagique which is a hot air balloon ride over the resort.

You're right, the official website is slightly lacking!A Small World's advice is definitely worth following, DLRP magic is a really hepful website.
In my personal opinion the rides I would never, ever miss in the main park are: Phantom Manor, Big Thunder Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Peter Pans Flight, It's A Small World, Space Mountain and Buzz Lightyears Lazer Blast. anything I do after that is a bonus.
In the studio park: Aerosmiths Rock n' Rollercoaster, Tower of Terror and Stitch Live. (I'm sure if I had been on it, I'd say Crushes Coaster too but the queues were just too long last time as I only had 2 days in the parks I didn't have the time to spare!)and again anything other than those is a bonus.
Now I'd be a bit of a thrill seeker so that affects my choices, so unless thats what you guys are into you might find that you wouldn't enjoy some of the rides I have mentioned but there are plenty of other things to do, shows, parades, character meet n' greets ect... so definitely have a look at DLRP magic website and see what takes your fancy!
Happy Planning
xoxo
