Calling for pins

I thought you could call wdw and they would check to see if you had a pin attached to your name? I just got off the phone and the girl said they can't check just the name anymore, only if I had a pin number. But she did say they some postcards are going out next week with pins. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Just a couple months ago I called and they applied a PIN for me.
We are AP and have been about a MILLION times to WDW.

I will be on the lookout for this NEW pin!!!!;)

They told me the same thing the other night. I got a PIN in the mail but couldn't find it in the mountain of mail in my dining room.:sad2: They said they couldn't look it up under my name, that I had to call the number on the mailer and tell them the PIN. I tried to explain again that I had lost it but she still said no, so I hung up.:furious:

Call again and get another CM. I called last week and the first CM told me that there was no such thing as them looking for PINS. I told her that they did it for me in the past and then she said that they stopped it. She was actually pretty nasty about it. I hung up, called back and got a friendly CM who looked up my name, my husband's name and even my kids names (my 16 year old got a postcard pin for the Disney Cruise Line around a week and a half ago). Unfortunately she came up with nothing :(.
