Passport information on our WestJet confirmation page

When I look up my families WestJet confirmation online there is an icon that says Passport information and when I clicked it says "Your reservation includes an international destination. You are required by Immigration Authorities to provide additional information." Besides that next to our names it says "International Travel Information Required - click here to complete. So am I right to assume if we filled that information right now we won't need to do it when we print off our boarding passes or does it make a difference if we do it now or when we check-in online?

You can do it now or when you print your boarding passes off. If you have any problems the WestJetter who tags your bags can add your information at that time as well. FYI if you have printing issues with your boarding passes you can have the agent at the airport print them off for you. People think because they don't have a printer, out of ink or broke can't check inonline for WestJet, they can! They will just ask to have the documents printed off at the airport. No big deal. :thumbsup2

Just wanted to say we found filling out the info online made our check in much faster/smoother. The agent still had to verify the data, but at least it cut down on the data entry time when you're in line. I think if everyone did this in advance, the airport lines would be SOOOO much faster!!

I imagine from YYZ it will make a big difference in your check in time/wait. Ottawa, well it's never bad even on the "worse" days :lmao:
