Thought I should start a new thread for the Muddy Buddy 2010! Lots of time to plan our strategy for next year.

Hoping to be involved.

Will work on Susan for co-ed Muddy-ing. ;)

Will work on my lazy *ss to start running. The biking I can do- just hate running.

My goodness you guys plan ahead of time. I'm in for Muddy Buddy 2010, but I'm hoping to have some other races under my belt before then too. Anyone want to join in for those?

I'm hoping I can get out to California to run the Disneyland 5k and Half Marathon with the DIS Unplugged over Labor Day weekend.

Kathy and I have been talking about getting a DIS Unplugged team together for WDW Marathon Weekend in January 2010.

And then I can start thinking about the Muddy Buddy 2010.

I am definitely doing the 2010 Muddy Buddy, but I agree with Dave that we need some other races to run before then.

Muddy Buddy 2010?:confused: Let me just say I'm in, but I must also say if we keep planning this far in advance before I know it I'll need a cane, have a white beard and wonder where my life went. :laughing:

Hey, I wanted to ask if people noticed the picture on the front page of my blog I posted? Chad (the 7 year old with Bob Babbitt) is a double-above-knee amputee competing in the Muddy Buddy in Austin (it was May 17). Chad was featured on Dateline last week, and you can find a link for the video on the Challenged Athletes Foundation website (on my blog). He's pretty amazing.

I would love to do Muddy Buddy - but I need a buddy! Any takers?

Just dreaming at this point, since logistics for me to go are on the challenging side, but if anyone would commit to being my partner/buddy, that might provide extra motivation! :thumbsup2

OK, I am in negotiations with my DH. If he can swing it work wise, we're in! WE, like him AND me. --Wait, did I just type that? What's wrong with me??!! I've only run one race and that was Bay to Breakers 20 years ago. Let's give it up for the mid-life crisis! -- In case I miss the registration opening, keep me in mind to remind me.
