for those who've been in January before.
Usually it's March for us and I'm used to unpredicatable weather conditions at that time, but in January I'm guessing it's going to be cold, no "ifs" or "buts", so for those who've been in January, would you go back again at that time or does the cold make it a big NoNo ?
Just thought of another question
What about flying, has anyone been stuck because of the snow ? I don't have a problem at all with being stuck in France, but wouldn't want to get delayed again this side :(

we were there jan 8-12th dis yr, it was frezzing -6 ish, we were well wrapped up so it wasnt too bad the rides were walk on so it def did help not having to stand around, i would come back in jan again despite it been so cold the zero ques more than made up for it.
we flew in on the thurs day no delays but a friend was flying back from india via cdg on the monday b4 and she got stuck there for a day because the had to close, but our driver did tell us it isnt usually dat bad with snow in jan he told me it had been the worst he could rem in the 25yrs he had lived their.

We went this year in January 10th - 13th. It was cold, but we were well wrapped up & I had invested in skisuits for the kids - which were an absolute must. I thought the park was beautiful with frozen waterfalls & lakes. It had snowed the week before we were there, so the snow was still there.
We were lucky though, there was no fresh snowfall when we were there - so no slippy ground or wet & freezing cold feet. We had cold days with blue skies. I don't think it would have been as enjoyable the previous week. Also we stayed at the Disneyland Hotel - I had insisted on that, but it was my 40th when we were there! So it was great being able to nip back to the hotel & it being so nearby.

I have been twice in January and will definitely go again in January. It is cold but that doesn't bother me as I wrap up and keep moving! The rides were almost all walk-ons and it was cheaper than other times of the year.
We have been lucky in that we haven't experienced flight delays.
We booked both times around August - not sure when the dates are released though.

I'm defo going back at that time.....the cold doesn't matter...worse ever though was 2007...my knuckles were crunching with the cold....never felt anything like it in my life!!!
Can't remember what year it was but the weather was really bad (white out, snow coming side ways) in Edinburgh and the flight was delayed but we eventually got there..wasn't a long delay but then we got a fright on the plane and everyone was screaming...it was struggling to climb....but at the end of the day the pilots know what they are doing and wouldn't risk it...Thats with Air France... Easy Jet (in Edinburgh) were honestly cancelling all the time.....I'd be scared to go with them in January to be honest....every second call was them cancelling.:confused3
forgot to say I think the prices are out next wk!...hopefully...the lass in the travel agents said they had the brochures but they were at the bottom of a massive pile (mmmmmmmmm bet she was fibbing lol)
I think this year we went about the 21st if I remember right and for the first few days it was HEAVING with scouts!!....got quieter though!!!

Having been twice in January I would deffo go again. If you can handle -10 degrees, snow, sleet rain and thunder you will be fine Jill.
January dates should be out in a few weeks, End of may beginning June so not far away.

Thanks for the input guys, it's definately on the "under consideration" list, I probably won't mention anything to OH for a while yet, but I did check out flight times and prices today and :thumbsup2.
So watch this space :)
