I have come home and checked to see when my Verizon contract is up - November 21. Guess what Dodie is getting herself for Christmas? :)

Aw, you don't want to wait until Christmas. iPhones are the new Thanksgiving gift, don't ya know!?

iPhone = good.
AT&T = bad.

I'll wait for them to branch out to other carriers.

I've been lucky...I've been with AT&T for years and have never had any issues! I think we've been with them now since 2001/2002...

Only Apple thing I've ever owned, so I'm not a 'fanboy', but it's easily the greatest phone I've ever had!!

The moment the iPhones become available on Verizon ... I'm switching.

I've been with Verizon for 15 years. I certainly do not want to switch to AT&T, but there are such conflicting reports about Verizon and the iPhone. Will it happen? Won't it happen? When might it happen? :headache: I don't think I can wait.

I checked my upgrade eligibility with AT&T earlier today, and they are taunting me. The only discount I can get is if I upgrade to an iPhone. I just got by Blackberry 7 months ago (I don't know what I was thinking since I carry my iPod in other pocket or purse all day too).

I am waiting...for now...we'll see how long it lasts...

I would be lost without my iPhone.

I would have one no matter what carrier it was through.

Once you have one, you will wonder why you waited.

Yep. Luckily the iPhone was on my UK carrier (o2) so i just got it as a standard upgrade!

It really is more than just a phone, in fact today I was even mildly impressed when I stopped playing Peggle and made a phone call, as it's easy to forget that it's even a phone!!

I am going to get an iPhone.

I have a Windows Mobile AT&T Tilt that I do like.

I believe that the iPhone will be a better move for me.

Kevin, I currently access two email accounts on my phone, can I do that on an iPhone?

I switched from being a pretty long-term Verizon customer to AT&T because of the iPhone. In my area, which is pretty mountainous, I have noticed very little difference in call coverage or dropped calls. There are areas where Verizon had better coverage but there are now areas where AT&T has better coverage. I have seen reports that AT&T bought from Verizon a goodly number of cell towers in rurual areas. I am hoping that increases remote area coverage in the next year or so.

The one thing I did notice was that, when I was in my office, if I held my Verizon Treo up to my left ear, the call would drop 9 times out of 10. With my iPhone, I can listen to calls out of both ears.

I guess my ears were made for the iPhone. I'm still trying to find out what my mouth was made for . . . .

I'm not Kevin, nor do I play him on TV, but yes you can access more than one email account on an iPhone. I've got something like 5 different email accounts on mine, all in the same mail application.

I still have no idea how to use my iPhone but I love it anyway!:laughing::laughing: The only Apps I have are FB and Bejeweled Blitz! :rolleyes1

I am hoping the FCC passes a non exclusivity phone rule like they have in Europe. I have Verizon now. I work for Verizon and I get a discount on my service. More and more I am wanting an iPhone. I can only hope if the FCC doesn't grant my wish, that the iPhone goes to Verizon once their contract with AT&T is up. And besides, my wireless contract has another 18 months to go. :sad1:

Agreed. I changed from my carrier Orange over to O2 since they have the deal with Apple :thumbsup2
My only worry is will I survive when I have to switch off data while in Orlando next month :scared1:

I can see the Smokies out of my living room window...where are you from, and why did I not realize this before?

We also have AT&T have had had zero problems with them in the last 5 years. Well, other than the guy letting me walk out with a BB instead of an iPhone. ;)

We have Sprint, I have an Instinct and iTouch. The itouch is soooo much better, easier and more fun to use. I can not wait to get an iPhone

In fact the other day I drove to a place to wireless to get on my itouch because it's easier than my instinct.
