My FIL is not known for his brain power. In fact I've seen pizzas with more brains :)
But the other day he really out did himself :)
He went to get a large bag of potatoes. He will only eat English potatoes (don't ask me why!). He came back from the place he usually gets his spuds from in a right mood. Apparently they didn't have any English potatoes so he had to have Cornish ones instead!
We are taking MIL on holiday with us in July - to Cornwall, so I've told her to make sure her passport is up to date :)

I'm Cornish (shhhh don't tell anyone :D) I know some Cornish people think Cornwall is a country of its own. I have crossed the bridge to Devon now :D

I draw the line at taking the MIL - I could not survive going on holiday with FIL as well!!!!
Just rememinded me of another story about him:
MIL & FIL have milk delivered to their door in glass bottles - because FIL doesn't think that milk from the supermarket in plastic bottles is 'proper milk'! So, what MIL does is, she keeps a glass bottle in the fridge and then keeps topping it up from the plastic milk bottles from the supermarket when he's not watching!
This has been going on for a few years now - and FIL hasn't realised what's happening!
I'm thinking of writing a book about him - it should be better than 'One Foot in the Grave' :)
