Hi all!:) I am going to attempt to do my first ever trip report...I feel the need to share my pixie filled trip with others!;)

I suppose I should give a little background about myself. I am a 28 year old stay at home mom. Wait...scratch that. I work two full time jobs as a maid, chofer, secretary, guidance counselor, grounds keeper, nurse, chef,hmmmmmmm...i could go on forever. My boss is absolutely wonderful. How many people can actually say that? Then again, she is only 6!:rotfl2: Yes, I live and breath my little bestie(best friend. We say besties), my little Myca.

I have a wonderful hubbie, 31, who owns and operates his own construction business. He works very, very hard for us and I couldn't ask for more. He went to WDW with us for a short 2 days in 2007 and he says he is good for 5 or so years!...so you know what that means? MOMMY and ME TRIP again! :cool1:

Now let's get on with the show!

Day 1 - May 3rd, 2009 Part 1 - the BORING part!
We were up at 3:30 am and since I am super awsome and organized all we had to do was put on our matching mommy and me outfits and we were out the door by 4:00. I had been basically all packed for over a week so I had plenty of time in the days leading up to departure day to check and re-check. Who really wants to do that at 3:30 in the morning anyway! We have a two hour drive to the Minneapolis International Airport. We got there early due to no traffic(where was everbody?Oh yeah, sleeping!) and zipped through security. The plane was on time and we were off! Hooray! I had an I Pod filled with the King of Queens so the three hours flew by...get it...flew...cause we were on a plane.Oh, forget it...;)We touched down in Orlando at exactly Noon. We took a small detour to the A side of MCO by accident while headed for Magical Express. But in no time we found our way. We were told to bypass the counter and we handed our voucher to the CM at the red carpet. He checked us in and we only had to wait about 5 minutes to board. Next stop...POP Century Resort!:)

We arrived at POP in no time. We used online check-in so they had our packet ready to go. Our room was not ready so we checked our carry ons with bell services and then took the 2 hours to explore the resort...and we made some tiny friends along the way...
http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03115-1.jpghttp://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03122.jpghttp://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03124.jpg
http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03142.jpg

We finally got our room at 3:00. Just in time because we were dying from the heat! We wanted to swim, swim, swim! I called bell services to let them know we had our room and that we were ready for our luggage whenever they had time. Well, after an hour and a half I called again and just asked if I could come down and get them and they said yes. We went down and got all of our luggage and a wonderful CM by the name of Micheal helped us take them to our room. Finally...Myca gets to swim! So, I let her swim for a whopping seven minutes! Yes.Seven.And that was enough to scratch her itch for the time being. Afterall, we had a whole Kingdom waiting for us to arrive!princess:

So, after Myca's seven minute swim we went to our room to get all gussied up for a night of fairies and magic. Myca had been asking to dress as Tinkerbell on our trip for about a year! I didn't want to have her wear one of the itchy Disney costumes so I made her one instead.
http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03148.jpg
I think she looked pretty darn cute if I do say so myself.:lovestruc Myca insisted that we go straight to Pixie Hollow when we arrive so she could meet up with her fellow fairies. OK...it's a deal. This trip is all about making her little face sparkle with happiness...

We arrive at MK at around 4:30 and Myca is bound and determined to get to Pixie Hollow. But wait!...we must stop for a photo op, right?
http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03149.jpghttp://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03150-1.jpg
OK, photo taken. "Let's Go!" "But wait again! We have to get a picture of you on Main St. It is a tradition! Please, Myca...only one more quick picture."
http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03151-1.jpg
After begging her for a few more stops to do pictures and a quick detour for a Goofy's cookie(YUM!) we finally made it to Toon Town. Hooray! Wow...Toon Town was packed. I panicked a tiny bit at the thought that the Fairies may have a really long wait. But it was short lived because my Mini Tink was so excited!:woohoo: We made a quick pit stop at Pete's to put the finishing touch on Tinkermyca's outfit and headed to County Bounty...
http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03156.jpghttp://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03157-1.jpg
Pixie Hollow had a 75 minute wait but the Princesses only had a 15 minute wait. I gave her the choice and to my surprise she chose the Princess line first. We walked on up and waited less than 5 minutes!:) The Princesses were great. Myca tends to be shy and they did a great job of getting her to interact a bit. Belle even gave her lessons on how to pose like Tink...
http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03159.jpghttp://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03165.jpghttp://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03166.jpg
http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03169-1.jpg
Up next: Do Pixies eat Pixie Stix? Does Cosmic Rays smell funny? Is Big Thunder scary at night? I may be inclined to answer yes...

Thank you very much:goodvibes I think this will have been the last the trip for Myca dressing up too:sad1: She will be 8 the next time we go so I am sure she will be over it by then. She got SO much attention in her outfits so it was really fun! I will try to do the rest of the first day later today. Thanks for reading my first trip report! I just needed to relive the magic...I am so sad that I can't get to WDW more than once a year:sad1:

I am so happy I have some followers!:goodvibes

After we had our share of ball gowns and glass slippers we skipped over the the Fairies. It had a 60 minute wait. "Not too bad" I said to Myca. Low and behold...we only waited 20 minutes!!!:cool1: Gotta love that Disney magic. Myca thought the "shrinking" hallway was pretty neat. Once she reached her fairy size she decided to stop and take a rest on a toadstool.
http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03174-1.jpg
Pixie Hollow was so great. The imagineers did a wonderful job with everything.
"Bring On the Fairies!" First up was Iradessa. Have you all heard of pixie stix? The little tubes of sugar that other parents love to give to your kids at birthday parties right before they are sent home to their unsuspecting parents...well, Myca is 100% positive that Iradessa and Tink both live on a diet of pixie stix. They both talked so fast and with so much excitement that we really didn't catch a word of what they said! Myca just stared as Iradessa went on a rant about....hmmmmmm...I have no idea. Tinkerbell was so excited to see Tinkermyca's dress that the only part I caught before the pixie stix kicked in was " Oh! Is your dress made out of leaves and twigs because my dress is made out of leaves and twigs..." After that she talked faster than the man on the old Micro Machines commercials! They were so fun!...the Fairies I mean. Not the Micro Machines;)
http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03180-1.jpghttp://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03186-1.jpg
Then came Rosetta. She was soft and southern and Myca had a very pleasant conversation with her about thier favorite adventures. Myca says that Rosetta doesn't like pixie stix and that is why she talks so slow.
http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03190.jpg
And with that our trip to Pixie Hollow was over. It went quite quickly and Myca was a little disappointed that our visit was so short so she gave me her best pout...
http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03192-1-1.jpg
By now I could here a rumbly in my tumbly so we stopped in to Cosmic Rays. I had actually by passed this counter service on all previous trips so I was pretty surprised and excited by Sonny Eclipse! Dinner and a show at counter service prices? Perfect!;)
http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03195.jpg
Since my darling Myca is a vegetarian she opted for the PB&J kids meal and I had a veggie burger. I am not a vegetarian but I do my darndest to keep my meat intake to a minimum to support her. She made the choice all on her own at 5 years old after she learned how the animals are treated before they are made into food. She is my little earth and animal lover.:lovestruc Anywhooo...back on topic...Cosmic Rays smells weird...really weird. I am not sure if it is the combination of the chicken, ribs, and burger bays all combined into one closed off space or just something else all together. Either way, Disney should invest in some sort of giant air freshener for that place!:lmao:Anybody agree?

Up next: Day 1 part 4, May 3rd, 2009. We finally make it to some attractions...Oops, I blinked on Goofy's Barnstormer and it was over!

LOL...Myca's facial expression is so cute here...you can tell she's thinking.."wow, you talk fast"

I don't remember Cosmic Rays smelling weird, I just remember being the only people there because we went during the parade.

Note: I was listening to a podcast this morning and a travel agent on there was talking about the smell in Cosmic Rays! How funny!:) I guess I am not alone...

After eating too many greasy fries at Cosmic Rays we embarked on a quest to get Myca to ride Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. In past trips she wasn't anywhere near ready to ride a roller coaster. In fact, she wouldn't even ride Goofy's Barnstormer!:rotfl2: But after so many of her little classmates told her they went on BTMR, she decided to try. She wanted to go on Goofy's first though to get the feel of a rollercoaster.

Now, since she had never wanted to ride Goofy's Barnstormer on past trips, I had never been on it either. We got in line with a 15 minute wait posted but really only waited about 7 minutes. I tried to take pictures of her face but with all the turns jerking me I couldn't get a good shot. In the whole 30 seconds the ride lasted I am pretty sure Myca didn't blink once! Her eyes were like little saucers. I couldn't tell if she liked it or not but I tell you...I laughed so hard at her facial expression that I totally missed the ride.I couldn't stop looking at her...was she scared?was she nervous?was she having fun? I couldn't tell! Her face was frozen like this:eek: the whole time!!!!!:lmao: Well, turns out she :lovestruc it! Hooray! She wanted to ride again right away but a huge crowd had just walked on and the stand-by had changed to 25 minutes. I told her we had so many other attractions to visit so we should move on. She was fine with that.

Next we made our way to Haunted Mansion. Does anyone not love this ride? It is so fun and whimsical. Myca is nuts over hidden mickey's and she knew of a couple in Haunted Mansion so she had fun spotting them. Here is Haunted Mansion after we got off and headed to BTMR...so pretty.
http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03199.jpg
By this time Spectromagic had begun so we high-tailed it to BTMR. Stand-by was posted as 10 minutes. We walked right on with no wait. Myca was pretty nervous but she wanted to go. I think I should have taken her during the day because this ride is very different at night...a bit spooky. We took off and once again Myca looked like ! But since it is longer she had time to adjust and soon she changed to . She really enjoyed it but she said she didn't like how dark it was at night. She was so proud that she rode her first BIG roller coaster. She tells everyone that was her favorite part of the trip.

We decided not to watch wishes but we wanted to end the night in Tomorrowland. We adore Tomorrowland at night and always, always end our nights there. The trick was getting through all the crowds between Spectro and Wishes. She took my hand tight and never let go. Once we got through Frontierland the crowds were fine. We decided to make a pit stop to Mickey's Philharmagic. I can not get enough of this 3-D Spectacular!:3dglasses

Tomorrowland was deserted due to Wishes...hooray for us! We walked on The Speedway which is one of Myca's favorites since she gets to drive. Every year we ride this as many times as we can at night and everytime I sing either "It's a Small World" or "Zip a dee do da" as we drive along. I get pretty big laughs from the CM that hangs out on the back curves by Space Mt.:laughing:We enjoy being part of the greatest spectacle in racing.
http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03218.jpghttp://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03222-1.jpg

Next was Buzz.
http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03208.jpg
Myca loves it.Mom, not so much. I love the ride and the game but not the spinning...yuck. So we kept the spinning to a minimum. About half way through I noticed Myca's score was still 0 so I tried her gun and it was not working. I told her to lean over and use mine. So she shot her laser and I drove the spaceship. Jenny and Myca of Star Command defeated the Evil Emporer Zurg, sworn enemy of the Galactic Alliance.
http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03213.jpg
Next we went to the laugh floor. It is always Myca's goal to get up on the big screen but no luck this time.

We had planned on staying until 2:00am but since we were up at 3:30 am with only a minimal nap...it was time to go back to Pop. My little Princess needed her sleep. I refused to run her energy out so if she was ready to leave, we left. If she wanted to stop and rest, we did. She was in the drivers seat. We first stopped into the store that is attached to Stitch's great escape because Stitch is our all time fav and we always get a pic by "The Wall of Stitch"
http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03216-1-1.jpg
We left Tommorowland and headed out through Fantasyland and through the castle. Beautiful.
http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03226-1.jpg
At Pop we were in the 60's building facing the Hippy Dippy Pool. As we walked by Myca asked if she could put her feet in and rest. My tiny Tinkermyca hung up her wings for the night and was sleeping as soon as her head hit the pillow. What a great end to a magical day.

Cool! We are going on the Majesty of the Seas!(out of Miami)to the Bahamas. I would have rather left from Canaveral, but we already went on Monarch 3 years ago when it did the Mexico intenerary(of course after we went to Disneyland). I'm sure you'll have a blast on that ship, we did!

I was going to wait until after memorial day to do another post but since my hubbie and DD are off fishing I don't have much to do!:confused3

Since we had a long:faint::faint: first day we decided that we wanted to sleep in a bit and then head to Epcot's World Showcase. I slept in until about 9:00am and quietly got up and did the workout I had on my Ipod. I got myself all ready to go then woke up Myca. She is great in the morning. she always gets up the first time I wake her which is nice. I put her in a very "flower power":hippie: style dress for the Flower and Garden Festival. We grabbed breakfast cookies on the way out the door and headed to the bus stop. It was already pretty warm out and the Pop bus stop is not shaded so Myca chose to wait in the bench. From this point on this became the routine...I waited in the hot sun and she chilled on the shaded bench...
http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03229-1-1.gif
The wait for the bus was about 20 minutes that day. At least it is a quick drive:drive: over to Epcot. When we arrived at Epcot our plan was to check out a few of the topiaries, get a fast pass for Test Track, sign up for Kim Possible, and tour half of the World Showcase.
http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03232-1.jpghttp://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03231.jpghttp://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03249-1.jpghttp://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03243.jpg
After taking pics with the super wonderful topiaries(they really puts the Disney magic in these:)) we were headed off to the Kim P kiosk. But wait!... something else caught my eye...Club Cool!:drinking1 I had actually never been to Club Cool if you can believe it but I know all about the Beverly! I told Myca what Club Cool was and she was all for a pit stop there. And here is what ensued in Club Cool...;)http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03685.jpg
http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03237-2.jpghttp://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03238-1.jpghttp://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03239-1.jpg
"What is this stuff?! It tastes like lemons and asprin!"Oh the poor kid! Since we are a team I made sure to try it too...how can a country that makes some of the best food in the world possible find the Beverly tasty?
...and after cleansing our bitter mouths with some delicious Ginger Ale we finally made it the the Kim P kiosk. "Doot,Doot,Doot,Doot. What's the Sitch?" Myca signed us up to be a secret agent by using some high-tech gadgets to scan her palm to verify her identity and scanning her super secret agent I.D. card(Key to the world card)http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03244-1.jpg

After recieving our kimunicator we proved we were truly secret agents by strinking an undercover pose or two...
http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03246.jpghttp://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03247.jpg

We finally made our way over to Test Track. I got our fast passes around 12:30pm for a return time of 4:05 which was perfect because this would give us plenty of time to walk around half of the World Showcase...

Next Up: Jenny and Myca take on The World Showcase, Myca gets impatient, and we kick the KP Kimunicator to the curb.

OT:I hope everyone had a great memorial day weekend! I know we did here. Lovely weather.Lovely Family.Lovely weekend.

Now back to the show!
The CM at the Kim Possible kiosk told us there was no hurry to arrive at our designated World Showcase pavilion so we got our fastpass for Test Track and began our tour of some of the countries on our way to Italy. This was our first time touring the WS. Last year we did a sort of sprint around the WS during EMH but we didn't go into any of the countries.
http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03261.jpghttp://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03296.jpg
First up... Mexico! Ole'! Myca thought we had to climb all of the steps to get in!:rotfl:
http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03250-1.jpg
Right when we entered we found the kidcot funstops. I was a little worried that these would be difficult to find so I had a file of all of the locations on my Ipod Touch. But alas, we never needed to use it. They were quite easy to locate.:thumbsup2 So, Myca got her little mask and stamp and sat down to color. I could NOT believe that the markers the tiny tots were to use were Sharpies!:scared1: I sat and wondered to myself how many toddlers walked away from the kidcot fun stop with a new semi-permanant tatoo they drew them selves or a new design on their t-shirt that mom will never be able to get off! (Note: I later learned that Sharpie sponsers the funstops so they supply the markers. But still...sharpies for little kids?Silly)
http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03253.jpghttp://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03255.jpg
After Myca's masterpiece was complete we made our way to the streets of Mexico. It was so cool how you really felt like you were in a little market at dusk. It was beautiful!
http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03259.jpg
We walked around a bit but Myca was really anxious to make it to China. She was most excited to see this country. I asked her why this country was her favorite and she said " Because they make all of my toys." I love a child's logic!
Next we made our way to Norway.
http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03267.jpg
Before we walked through Norway we sat on a neat little rock platform with steps and ate our lunch. Good old PB&J.Yummy.
http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03264-1.gif
As we entered Norway the first thing Myca saw was the back end of a boat almost falling out of a building...Maelstrom! Myca was a little apprehensive after seeing the boat but I told her it was a very mild attraction. So we gave it a go. We really enjoyed it! I wanted to go again but the boss wanted to check out the shops. Being from the home of the Minnesota Vikings, we just had to do our best impression of the mascot...I had a little trouble with one of my horns!:cutie:
http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03266.jpghttp://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt48/mycasmommy/DSC03265.jpg
Time to go...Myca could see the Temple of Heaven looming in the distance.
But wait...Snow White!

Up next: Where are all the toys? :confused3The christmas donkey, and smurfs:cutie:

I could NOT believe that the markers the tiny tots were to use were Sharpies!:scared1: I sat and wondered to myself how many toddlers walked away from the kidcot fun stop with a new semi-permanant tatoo they drew them selves or a new design on their t-shirt that mom will never be able to get off! (Note: I later learned that Sharpie sponsers the funstops so they supply the markers. But still...sharpies for little kids?Silly)

I'm shocked! Sponsor or no sponser, kids and sharpies don't mix! Yikes. that could ruin a day pretty quick, not to mention the pictures you hope to have for years to come.

I do have to say, however, that Myca's mask did come out pretty cute

Enjoying the updates...can't wait for more!

Goodness, I have been so crazy busy with end of the school year activities for my daughter that I thought I would never get back on here!:goodvibes

Now where in the world was I?...or should I say where in the World Showcase was I?! Ahh, yes...we had made our way to China! Myca was so excited to see China. We first stopped at the carts/gift shops outside of the actual pavilion to look at the beautiful umbrellas and string puppets. Myca just fell in love with those umbrellas! She begged and begged for one. My problem with getting her one was getting it home in one peice. They seemed delicate and I didn't think it would make it home without damage. Oh, I felt sooooooo bad! She never really asked for much on the trip but she asked for one of the umbrellas everyday. I should have just shipped it home...ok...now the guilt is eating me alive and I will be doing a google search to find her one after I am done here.:)

Anywhooo... we also thought the puppets were cute and we had a ton of laughs trying to actually work them! We just didn't get where to hold the strings.

After a few pictures we made our way into China. I loved the layout and the little carts selling trinkets. And it was practically empty so it was easy to walk around and check out the beautiful buildings. Myca went straight for the kid cot and got her stamp. Then she started to look for all the toys! :rotfl: I thought is was hilarious as she walked around with her eyes darting here and there...but no toys! I then took the time to explain to her that all the beautiful things she was seeing was much more important to China and their culture than the fact that they make her toys. In the middle of this conversation she totally stopped listening because she spotted more umbrellas and went to admire them. After we spent some time exploring we decided to keep moving...we still had to get our Kimmunicator for the Kim Possible mission. On our way out of China we stopped to snap a picture by the beautiful water dragon. All of a sudden I looked up from my camera and Mulan was on the bridge with us! But she didn't have a handler and just smiled and walked on by us...too bad...she was so very pretty though! I unfortunately didn't take a pic of her.

After stopping by the Outpost to let Myca beat on some drums for awhile, we finally made it to Germany. My heritage. I am mainly of American Indian and German descent. My maiden name of Scholla is German.

Myca was really good at finding the kidcots right away. She walked into the nearest building and sure enough...there it was! After she got her stamp we went to explore the store...and boy did we hit the jackpot! First off we spotted SMURFS! We love Smurfs! They are the smurfiest smurfs that ever smurfed! My sisters and I grew up watching this cartoon. It was our absolute favorite across the board. And with its recent DVD release, Myca is now in love with them too. So we stood there for a really long time looking at all the smurfy toys and we picked out a super cute Smurfette to bring home to my older sister.(Which she loved so much. She has is in her kitchen window and she said she looks at it everyday and it makes her smile.:goodvibes)

Now then next thing we saw was a huge Schliech animals display. My daughter has been collecting the Schliech animal figures since she was around 3 and I am going to guess her collection at around 150 animals from this company. She was so excited because they had some that we had not seen yet. She made a wise choice and bought the German Shepard since we were in the German pavilion.
After our purchases we were finally on our way to Italy. This is where we had to pick up our Kimmunicator. Right outside of Italy we saw something that made us laugh so hard and sing a little tune right then and there. We saw Dominic the Christmas Donkey!:rotfl: This is an old Italian song about a donkey that helps Santa climb the hills of Italy. For years I have sung this song around the house.(All year round mind you.It doesn't have to be christmas at our house to enjoy a good christmas tune!;)) Oh my, we laughed and then sang the chorus for all to here!

We didn't plan on spending much time checking out Italy this day. We just planned on getting our Kimminuicator and then coming back to check out the Pavilion later in the week. I thought it would be better for Myca to break the World Showcase into two days. On our way by I had to have Myca stop here and get a picture. Italy's pavilion is truly stunning.

After a little searching we finally found the little cart where we picked up our Kimmunicator. The CM gave us avery short tutorial on the device and away we went to Japan to stop the bad guys on our first secret mission...or so we thought...

Up next: We are finally on our mission!...maybe?, We found the Toys!, and Pick me! Pick me!...
