View Full Version : My version of Disney Frequent Flyer
We typically spend a week to 10 days at DW each year, sometimes more. (I recently joined DVC because of this but the savings is a very long term thing.) I realized that if we took our vacation late one year and early the next we could get an AP that would cover both visits. With a Disney Club discount there was a $30 cost difference between the 8 day LOS pass and an AP. We took an 8 day stay in October and we’ll be there in a couple weeks for 10 days.
Now for those of you that don’t have a company that allows the Disney Club membership there is another way. Just buy a few shares of Disney stock. They’ll let you sign up for 2 years at a time. I think a share is going for less than $25 right now.

Kirk, the Disney Club is not offered through companies any more, that is the old Magic Kingdom Club. Anyone can purchase a Disney Club membership now, it is a paid membership program. :D
Also, being a Disney stockholder does not get you any additional perks or discounts, unfortunately.

But the Entertainment book has a discount on DC you only pay $31.00 instead of $39. and you save that on passes and room only packages!!

Michelle, the Disney Club IS offered through companies still, in a way. IF your company USED to offer the Magic Kingdom Club (ours did and I was the director) they now offer a reduced fee to join the Disney Club. I have brochures and enrollment forms available to all our employees to join the Disney Club. They can join using our company's chapter number and the annual fee is $29.95 instead of $39.95. I still get updates and brochures from the Disney Club for our employees about twice a year.
My employer used to have to pay $135 every two years for our "free" Magic Kingdom Club cards. There is no fee to my employer now to offer the reduced rate for the Disney Club.
I don't know if this is only available to employers that used to subscribe to the Magic Kingdom Club or not.

Is there a way to find out?? I am the HR Manager for my company and I would love to get this "benefit" even if I am the only one who uses it ;)
