We are going into brum on Sunday (shopping and football) im considering driving in because the train times are rubbish !!

Can anyone advise me where best to park and how much it might cost ?

Mandy reccomended the bullring but says that might be pretty expensive for the whole day

Have you checked the times from Nuneaton Nat? Parking at the station is 3.50 per day for Sundays.

There are direct trains from Nuneaton to Birmingham New Street at 11:01 and 12:01 and return direct trains at 16:22, 17:22, 18:22

8.30 return.

Just noticed that they are the same trains that go via Hinckley so going to Nuneaton just makes it easier if you have to change trains at Nuneaton.

Have a look at this leathlet for details of Birmingham parking:

We always use the one near the Hippodrome, easy to get in and back out of city centre.

I tend to park at the Bull ring (Moor Street car park) as it is easily signposted from the A38 and is easy to get out. If you go up onto level 8 you literally walk across a walk way directly into Selfridges. It isn't anymore expensive than many city centre car parks and from memory it cost about 8 when I parked there all day. I don't know much about any other car parks though - sorry.

You can park at mine for 5 and I'll drive you in :rotfl:

The Arcadian car park is quite good value (Hurst Street) and is the other side of the Bullring shopping centre. It's easy to get to - you come through the tunnels from the M6/A38M and take the next left. It is in the Chinese quarter.

We usually park there, or on Livery Street by the Childrens Hospital. It is a flatbed car park, pay and display, and there is a connecting walkway to the city centre.

Have fun!
