Is this discount good for retired Federal Employees also? What is usual rate with this discount in early December? Thanks...

Yes--retired government employees, with proof, qualify.
When available, the standard room rate is 129.00/night.

I emailed SD last week to ask whether the rate is good for retired state employees. I was told the answer is yes.

Did I read some where that the rate is going up to $149?

The rate went up to 149.00; now its back down to 129.00.
