We are thinking of adding on the DXDP.

How do the meal credits work exactly?

Do you get an 1 pool of credits that can be used at any time (breakfast, lunch or dinner)?

Or do you get X number of breakfast credits, X lunch and X dinners? So if you skip a lunch then that cannot be "made up" so to speak - it's just a loss?

You just get one bunch of credits that you can use anytime.

We have the deluxe plan this trip and are using them for lunch and 2 credit dinners. We are using none for breakfast.

The credits are pooled and are all available to use at any time from check in until midnight on the day you check out.

as the title of the thread says, everything you want to know about the dining plans

We like the basic dining plan which gives 1 snack credit, 1 counter/quick service credit & 1 table service credit per night per person. We use the snack for a breakfast pastry, the counter service for lunch and always use our table service for dinner.

Others prefer to use their table service for a mid-day break...

We tried the DxDP and decided that was just too much food & too much time in restaurants, but to each his own.

Your best bet to learn the ins & outs would be to read that thread linked above, and then check out the various questions & threads that pop up for a few days to get a better idea whether it'll be what you want to do.:goodvibes
