Could people who have recently got back share some prices to give me some ball park figures for when I go next week - food costs around the park, gifts and costs for Cafe Mickey and Planet Hollywood food - I am staying at the Santa Fe - any prices of anything appreciated - with the exchange rate I am expecting an expensive but worthwhile time!

Well, when we went (Mid April 2009) we were getting 1 euro to the pound, so ...

For disney meals my 15 and 12 year olds were treated as adults.

- Bottle of water : £2.20
- Table Meal - Adult : £21
- Table Meal - Child : £15
- Two pints of lager in hotel bar : £11
- Pizza at hotel : £15
- Stroller rental : £7
- Stroller deposit : £70
- Cafe Mickey for three adults and three children : £87 - actually pretty good. The greeter decided to let my 12 year old through as a child :)
- Rainforest Cafe for two adults and four children : £180 - four of the kids had adult meals.

To be honest, it was very expensive for our large family, but we were determined to enjoy ourselves, we had saved hard and decided not to let the prices spoil the holiday, and they didn't.

You can get adult meals from around 9-10 euros such as hotdog, chips etc or mcdonalds which i think is around 8 euros which is all counter service

Kids can eat from 7 euros at the counter services

I think table service starts at around 30 euros? We only ate at cafe mickey with table service which was 30 euros adult and 16 for a child.

soft drinks in the park were crazy prices so we went to the shop in the train station on our way in for nibbles and a drink each.

Billy Bobs in the village in January came to 86 euros for 2 adults and 2 children.
We had a good deal in Rainforest cafe where the kids ate for 5euros 95, but i think we were just lucky that week cause no one else has mentioned it and it did say for limited time. The next night the sign said 9 euros!!

Meals in the park were roughly 30-35 euros for the four of us for burger and fries etc.
As long as you are aware that it is expensive then its not as much of a shock and you remember it is because of the exchange rate that pushes it higher.
Have fun!!
Remember my prices were January.
