Thinking about staying at HR over New Years..Can anyone tell me what happens around City Walk around this time.

This year they had The Doobie Brothers playing live,a buffet with everything from filet mignon to crab legs and a firework show over the lagoon(I think,I didnt go)with a champagne toast at midnight.Grant you its not free.I think it cost $45 per person!!

It was over $100 pp and no one admitted under 21 yrs of age.

My DH and DD15 walked the perimeter to get to the parks and it took them over 1 hr to go 50 ft. It is packed, of course after midnight, you can walk a little easier.

Oh and if you are planning on staying at the Hard Rock, make your ressies now. That's the 1st hotel to get booked for NYE because a lot of the locals stay just for the night/weekend.
