What time does the Newport Bay start serving breakfast? We are hoping to eat and get over to the park for the start of our Magic Hours.

What are the queues like in the parks at the moment? We are going in three weeks.

What's the longest queue these days? The shortest? What tips do you have that maybe aren't included in guide books, that can minimise queuing?

Hello and welcome to DIS.

The hotels start serving breakfast at 7.00 so time to get to the park for EMH.

The rides which have the longest queues are Crush in the studios and Peter Pan, Dumbo and BTM in the main park.

Peter pan and Dumbo can be done in EMH

The queue for Pirates moves very quickly as does the one for Small World

Try to get to the park for 8.00 as the first hour of EMH is quieter than the 2nd hour, position yourself at 9.55 to get to where you want to go next at rope drop.
Make the most of FPs

If you want to ride Crush wander over to the studios about 9.30 and you will beat the crowds through bag check (if you are in the park for EMH you can avoid bag check again as you are already through that part so this gives you a head start)

we have just returned and actually found BTM one of the easiest rides to get on time and time again along with TOT. They were just walk on's.

Crush was closed every day at 12.30ish-1pm four our of 5 days that we were there due to a mysterious technical fault but we think they didnt have the staff to cover lunch on these days. Once people were determined to wait they re-opened the ride so the 20 minute wait was well worth it as soon as poeple went through they put the waiting time to 60 minutes immediately. All very weird practices.

Also the Tram Tour was running with half empty carriages constantly making huge queues and when they were questioned about this they also replied that there were techincal faults yet the ride was still running. They were only filling 2 carriages at a time whivh was making queues of 90 minutes.

Very bizarre behaviour again.

The tram tour could be due to sound not working in some carriages. We were in one in February where the sound was not working

Yeah it might have been but there were so many carriages not being filled every time that people started to get really narked.

Its such a quick ride for the huge queues too.

But that happens with many of the rides - they are over so quickly.
