Harry Potter shown on Magic

How long after the Harry Potter movie was in the theaters did it get shown on the ship? We are cruising Nov 30th and wondering if there's any chance of the 2nd Harry Potter movie being shown. Its in theaters Nov 16th.

I wish Harry Potter and The Chamber Of Secrets was coming out earlier then November!!!!
Then maybe I could see it on the cruise we are going on!

I think it was a while before it was shown. I wouldn't expect it to be showing. But there is always hope. :D

The only first-run movies shown on DCL ships are Walt Disney Co. movies (Touchstone, Hollywood Pictures, Miramax and Buena Vista films). Other films are shown on a second-run basis...several months after their theatrical release but before video release. The first Harry Potter didn't start showing on the DCL ships until this March/April...the same time they started playing on those in-room movie channels in hotel rooms.

Since Harry Potter II comes out on 11/16 there is virtually no chance it will be shown on the Magic by 11/30. We, too, would love to see it there, however we'll just have to make do with Treasure Planet and the Santa Clause II.
