"CHAUTAUQUA AIRLINES WILL REPLACE COMAIR AS THE DELTA CONNECTION CARRIER IN FLORIDA."

Did anyone read this on the Orlando Sentinel website a few days ago? I just scanned the article, but basically from what I undersand, the Indianapolis based Chautauqua Airlines will take over most of the 84 daily Florida flights. The Chautauqua planes are 37 passenger ones and will replace the 50 passenger planes Delta is currently using.

I don't like the 50 passenger planes they are using now although I have flown in them. They are bumpy. I just don't think I'll be able to fly in a 37 passenger plane.

I wondered if anyone else knew anything about this.

Would this be for flights just within Florida (from one FL city to another)? I hate the idea of a small plane! When I made our reservations with Delta I SPECIFICALLY made sure I didn't choose a Comair flight. I'm so afraid to fly and don't like the idea of a small plane.

Delta called to change our return flight and they wanted to put us on a Comair flight. I said no and they found us something else.

I'm anxious to hear more about this.
