Why not 2 on board credits?

For out 9/26/02 we have a $50 postcard credit...this is our first cruise. We also just joined the Disney club and were suppose to get $50 on board credit but when we called DCL they would not honor the Club credit and said we couldn't have two. Does anyone know why?

Just like you can't use two coupons for the same product in the grocery store. I am sure there are many, many different promotions out there where someone could rack up a few different onboard credits.
