First Time on the Disboards

Hello to everyone from Nebraska! This is my first time writing in and I just want to say How awesome this site is!! We are planning a trip to Disney World in Sept. I had a question about Items allowed on Checked in Baggage. I would like to take a few snack type foods such as mini muffins and fruit snacks but I'm concerned about people going through my luggage and tampering with the food? Has anyone pack food in a checked baggage before and has this ever been a problem for anyone?

The last time that I went I had an entire suitcase with muffins, donuts, juice boxes, nuts, granola bars and a few other things. No problems. The people at the airport really don't have time to mess with your food. Unless you have wads of cash or expensive electronics or jewelry, they just move on to the next bag.;) They aren't going to risk getting fired over a Hostess Cupcake.

The good thing is that since these are consumable you will have space to bring home all of your souviniers!
