What awesome anniversary gifts! Just trying to catch up on some trip reports! just got back yesterday- my tip for you- it rained every day without fail, bring a poncho every day into the parks, we had to buy them on two separate occasions and they are not cheap!I will be posting a trip report soon but if you have any questions before you go, just post on my pre trippie!

i have been shopping the last couple days with craig for all the stuff I need! the only thing left to get is new runner laces (because one of my camp kiddos spilled tomatoe sauce all over my old ones!) and I'm looking for a super comfy pair of flipflops which has turned out to be quite the venture! poor craig... weve gone to soo many stores i dont know why he puts up with me!

Since tomorrow is supposed to be a super nice day we're gunna spend all day in craigs pool and have some adult beverage freezies we bought from the LBCO! woo! and then im hoping to start Craig on his packing/collecting all his items up!

Flame tree is good...we are planning to try picnic in the park this trip...Earl is a MUST DO!!!!!!!! We have eaten at the Puck sit down 3 times and it is awesome! If the CS is anything like it, you'll be pleased! And, by the way...I love the countdown idea! I was even thinking I may steal that for my PTR if you don't mind! (I can't put it up yet, though...it would drive people crazy!!)

we got it! and spent the day making plans! it pretty fun! what we did was plan out 2 whole days (AK, HS) and did half a day for Epcot (front end of park) and left the afternoon free for WS
and then we did a plan for the last day at MK just for the morning to get in all the classic rides (ie - dumbo, peter pan etc)

looks pretty good! ill give a review when i get back!

the only thing that concerns me is some of the FP return times they give u are outside the designated return time and they said it will be fine for us to use it later on. im just hoping i dont run into problems doing this!

Yay Pop Century!! I can't wait to stay there! I've never stayed there and I'm so excited to try someplace new! It looks like so much fun! I've heard the pizza isn't that great, don't know if you were planning on getting any. Have you checked out the Pop Century thread on the resorts board? haha I will pass on the info to him anyways! I am pretty impressed with it so far! I hope it actually works! we're gunna do a trial run of it on the first day! Its pretty cool though because it scheduals in break times for you too so that gives times to meet characters and stuff!

Just FYI about mears- used it to get to seaworld-heres an overview of my thoughts:

I called one day in advance, had to put my name in for a 7:50, 8:50 or 9:50 pick up. At first I choose the 7:50 but then decided on the 8:50. I got a confirmation number and that waas it.

At the resort, we saw the bus come and I had no idea what to do. The driver said I had to pay him 36$ cash round trip for seaworld, so I did and got a return ticket stub. For pick up, we had to choose a 3:30, 4:30, 5:30 etc etc pick up time or call 2 hours in advance. We choose 3:30 and called 2 hours in advance, the bus was there right on time and we went back ot AKL no problem.

The thing that bothered me was that we put in the effort of calling, etc etc but they didnt even ask for a confirmation number or our name, so people probably were able to just walk right on. Makes me wonder, why bother taking time to call at all? Either was mears was fine for us, it just bothers me that I wasted my time calling. BTW so excited your trip is so close! AKL shared a bus with POP and it looked awesome! Also, for AK counter service we loved picnic in the park, I love the reusable bag it comes in and it was yummy!

You can return with your fast pass any time after your allotted return time as long as it is the same time. So if your return time is noon but you find yourself in the middle of lunch or on the other side of the park, don't worry. You can use it any time after. This works great in theory but we found that it was really annoying when we were standing in line forever at RRC during EMH and all of these people came to use fast passes that they had collected earlier in the day. And I mean LOTS of people!! Have a great trip and can't wait to hear about your surprise!

Regardless, I'm still always shocked when I meet those rare few. :laughing: Does your DBF like Disney movies? Mine loves them, so that helped a lot. I love Alice in Wonderland too! I have so many Alice trinkets & things because everyone knows I'm a huge fan. I'm so excited for the Tim Burton version coming out next year. He's the king of weird & I just know his whole take on the story & characters will be incredible. The pictures of the movie I have seen are gorgeous too. He's a genius really.

Some of the best character interactions we have ever had have been with Alice & the Mad Hatter at 1900 Park Fare on 2 separate occasions. They were a total riot! I hope you have the same experience. :goodvibes

I was shocked too! Especially because hes travelled sooo many places!, from egypt to all over europe etc He does love the Disney movies (Toy Story and Aladin are his faves :lovestruc) and he's been getting into the planning and everything and is very excited!! I think he'll fall in love (well im hoping! haha)

OK I HAD to update you guys with the weirdest story ever!

So, you may or may not know that Florida was supposed to get 3 storms whiel we were down there and i was all bummed out and worried, well turns out I didnt have much to be worried about and it looks like it will be some nice weather (not jinxing it! anything could change!!)

So thats great and then today the weirdest thing happened in the city of toronto........ we got hit by TWO TORNADOES!!! :scared1::scared1::scared1:

now it hit about 20 mins north of where we i live and pretty close to where Craig lives, luckily no one we know was hurt and there only seems to be one death in the city but man the storm we got was just the scariest thing! like it came out of nowhere! and it was INSANE!!! like raining, winds, trees falling! holy moly! and then 30 mins later it was pretty and sunny again!

and btw... just so you fully understand how weird this is for my city.... the last tornado we got here was in like... the 70s i think!!

so ya... thats my story!

Hi Allll! We are back! and it was a WONDERFUL vacation! Thank you for all the sweet messages! what a nice thing to return tooo! (since im already super sad to be back!)

I will start my TR asap! We just gotta upload all the pics and videos and sort them all out! Expect it to be started tomorrow or thursday!

Craig will be posting a short TR too I think and I'll be posting a foodie report tooo! (because food is awesome! hehe) so I hope you'll follow along! I'll post the URL when I begin!
