Anyone Familiar with Turkey Lake?

We'll be leaving Oklahoma on December 26 heading for WDW. We could not get reservations at FW until Jan 2. It will take 3 days to get there as we're traveling with my parents in their Moho and plan to spend a couple of days with family in Mississippi on the way. Anyway, we'll be getting to Orlando before our Jan. 2 check-in day. We are wondering about staying at Turkey Lake. Have any of you been there? We aren't looking for anything fancy, just a safe, clean place to stay for 2-3 days.

Becky, I tried the search before posting and there just isn't much there. Most are posts just referring to Turkey Lake. What would be great would be some pics. Anyone?

Don't mind you posting them at all, that's what they're for. If I can answer any questions let me know. We've been there about 6-7 times and it's a nice cg.

Hey that's what I'm talkin' about! The pics look better than anticipated and we're convinced! We'll be staying there for a few days until our ressie at WC open up. Y'all are great and thanks for the help......

You may also want to keep checking FW as the time gets close as there are always cancellations.
