Thanks Dan. I do have a pair of New Balance running shoes. I actually have a couple of pairs of New Balance. I just can't run in them. They are super comfy for walking but running is out for me. My feet are too narrow and I have a high arch so I really have to go with Nike. Thanks for the suggestion though! :goodvibes Haven't gotten any updates from you in a while. How's the fam?

So as I said earlier, Chris, me, Chris' mother and his Grandmother took a drive around to look at the fall colors and such. On our outing we decided to get close to the GA Power Plant 'cause seeing all that steam rising out of the stacks is just so cool. Then we made our way to a place called Covered Bridge that has a bridge that was built in the 1800's so we got a little history while we were out as well. All in all it was a very nice day.
Without further adieu, the pictures

Thank you bunches! You know, I keep hearing that a lot  Drive a little bit north into Alabama and you'll see the leaves changing I'm sure.
Thanks girl! Got that at the Disney store last year. On the back it has an even bigger Snow White outline and she's holding an apple (it's red) and on the bottom it says "Just one bite"

Oh good. Glad it's gone. Hopefully y'all won't have too much this winter. I know last winter was pretty harsh. I will be in Brookville, PA (most ppl have no idea where that is ). I was up there for Thanksgiving 2 or 3 years ago and it was unseasonably warm. Mid 60's almost the whole time. We absolutely loved it! Sort of hoping for that again but not holding my breath.

Thanks! You should visit some time. You could stay in Atlanta and visit the Coke museum and the GA Aquarium. Or you could visit Helen GA. Very pretty up there.
Yeah I love historical things like Covered Bridge too. There's lots of neat little things like that here. Just gotta wander around and find 'em. :thumbsup2

It's about an hour north (or maybe not even that long) of Punxsutawney. Also maybe about 45 min East of DuBois.
I would be too! I hate the cold. I hate the winters we get here and I know they're nothing compared to what you guys get up there.

I just checked on the all knowing Wikipedia and Goofy's top speed is 20mph and Big Thunder Mountain Rail Road's top speed is 35mph. I have no idea if he'll get on it. That's really not fast at all but I know SM's top speed is 35mph too and he hated it. I think mostly because it was in the dark. We'll see. :confused3
wow, not very fast.
Hey there Mike! Thanks for stopping by :goodvibes:
 well, as long as you look hard core that's all that matters.
Thanks. I think it will be fun and we might even get to see Kelly again in the mix. :thumbsup2 That stinks that Roxy has that problem too. I feel her pain. It really stinks. And we have payroll every week here. But when I'm not here my Dad does it even though he hates it. He hates to do the tedious things.
Thank ya. Yeah SM is pretty whiplashy. I think with the renovation having just taken place when we get there in December it will be better. Or at least I'm hoping. I can't wait to ride the new version. The halloween themed one at DLR sounds awesome though.
Thanks! Yeah, that's what I'm going to try to do at AK this year. I am thinking I might go and see my Dr to get some kind of meds for my panic attacks before we go to WDW this year. Thinking just having the meds will help. And maybe I can take one before going to AK so I don't get the closed in feeling before we get into the park far enough for me to not feel like I'm trapped. The older I get the worse these panic attacks seem to get.
Thanks. I really hope I can convince him to ride. I think he would enjoy it if he just tried.
oh yes I think the new SM is going to be a lot like its Disneyland cousin!
I'm SOOO jealous that Mike got to ride it, and especially the Halloween version! I've heard such great things about it.

I know  He drives way faster than that in the car and TT is also way faster than that. I don't know what the man's deal is with "fast" rides. I mean, RnRC isn't even very fast.

You're not missing anything in Punxsutawney! Stupid groundhog statues everywhere and nothing to do. I would have to visit the looney bin if I lived there due to lack of entertainment. I'm surprised if I actually have cell phone service driving through there.

I wanted to let everyone that is going to WDW the same time as me, I read on another thread about Pop Warner that this one person said they have been during Pop Warner the past 3 years and they didn't impact their trip in any way any time. Said the parks were always low crowds and they never noticed there was Pop Warner going on while they were there. HTH put some of your minds at ease about Pop Warner. :goodvibes
Here's the quote from that thread
We have been there at lest three times while Pop Warner has beem there and they have never impacted our trip in any way. We have never stayed where they are staying and that may have made a difference, but as far as being in the park it has always been just fine.

Now my photos won't be down graded from quality whenever I load them. They will be exactly the same. Oh the quality. I mean, I paid enough for the darn camera!! I want my pictures to be displayed in the same quality I am seeing them in for all of you. Plus I absolutely hate Photobucket any more. It's just a pain in the ****! Anyways, that's it for today. Hey everyone. Sorry I have been so AWOL. We have been super duper crazy busy lately. I'll post some things later this evening (hopefully). I have a ton of laundry to get going. I need to start packing. I leave for PA NEXT THURSDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :scared1: I'm a little scared that I'm not going to be ready.
I have quilting class tomorrow evening with my Mom. I dunno if I"ll make it to that or not. Why is it that once October comes to an end everything just gets crazy busy!? Maybe this was not the right time of year to plan a vacation :rotfl:
This Saturday Chris and me and Chris' parents are going up to Nashville to see the ICE exhibit so I will hopefully get the pictures of that up before I go to PA.
Anyways, hope everyone is doing great and I will do my best to come around more before I go to PA. Because once I go to PA, I probably won't be back on here until after we get back from Disney. There's only 2 days separating those trips. (why yes, I am crazy!!)

Well, I didn't get a chance to put up the pictures last night that I wanted. Arg! And tonight isn't gonna happen either. I'm just way too busy. Going to Costco after work this afternoon and then I have to go to my quilt class at 6:00. Sorry folks. I'll try for tomorrow.
But, In other news: 16 days!!!!
I figured out how much we are going to need for tips at each of my TS meals last night. Not too bad I think. And I figured out how much we will need for Beaches & Cream and the alcohol I plan on drinking at our TS meals. I only want to get a Mimosa at Kona breakfast (never had one) and I want to try the Lapu Lapu at Kona dinner. Kona will be a lot of firsts for me and it just so happens to be our cheapest and most expensive meals  How weird is that?
Hope everyone is having a great week and getting ready for Thanksgiving! That little holiday is in T minus 8 days!!

just pick a restaurant and it will take you to find whatever reservation you are looking for. You can insert your hotel reservation # so the ADR will be linked to your hotel too. Take a min to play with it when you get a chance. That's what I did before it was ADR day for me so I was familiar with the system and wasn't freaking trying to figure it out on that day.

thanks, i went and played around with it a little bit, it seems really cool, and very easy to use.
Question, you said that we can add our reservation number to it, to tie it to our resort, do you need to do this so that you can make the reservations for the length of the trip all at once?
we are going to be there for 2 weeks, and i dont want to have to go back on each day and get the dinning for that day for the whole trip?
does that make sense...also i did not see where you add your reservation number too tie it to the resort?

Yes you will need to put your reservation # in to get the +10 advantage you get for booking through Disney for your trip.
This is just as an example....Here's the link to the LTT online booking page
http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/parks/magic-kingdom/dining/liberty-tree-tavern/reservations/
When you get there, just under the picture is something that says "Update your profile". The last sentence there at the end says "retrieve your reservation". Click that and that's where you put in your reservation #, date of arrival and where you are staying. I think Disney changed the reservation time for ADRs back to 180+10 for Disney resorts. It was 90+10 when I booked. You might want to double check that though. Let me know if you need any more help.

perfect we will still have to make reservations in 2 stages, we are going to be there for a total of 13 days, i wonder if it will see that in our reservation or not...and let me book the whole trip at once.

Yeah you will probably have to do it in 2 stages like you said. It will see how long your stay is when you put your reservation # in but the rule is still 180+10 so it will probably be, do it in two stages or wait until the +10 goes to the end of your trip and book all your ADRs at once. Hopefully that makes sense. If it was me I would probably do it that way. Good LUck!

How on earth is this possible!?!?
Dec 3rd Accuweather says a high of 80 and a low of 61 with maybe a pop up shower.
Then Dec 4th (the day we actually arrive at Disney) the high is 64 and the low is 43 with rain!?!? I mean, my God!!! How could it change so drastically!?!? Why on earth is the weather doing this to me!? I'm so upset!

Ok so one more day until I leave for Brookville. Here's the weather forecast:
Thurs Nov 26th ~ Rain ~ High 48 ~ Low 32
Fri Nov 27th ~ Rain/Snow ~ High 39 ~ Low 28
Sat Nov 28th ~ Rain/Snow ~ High 42 ~ Low 30
Sun Nov 29th ~ SUN (what's that??) ~ High 47 ~ Low 30
Mon Nov 30th ~ Rain ~ High 46 ~ Low 31
Tues Dec 1st ~ Rain ~ High 46 ~ Low 20
So, at least it's warmer than what I was originally thinking (not by much). But all the rain and clouds are gonna make it feel colder. And all that rain. Almost every single day. Blah! I hate PA weather. But, I get to see my Grandmother and that's what counts. :goodvibes And at least with rain in the forecast I don't have to worry about getting stuck up there.
In other news ~ I don't know if you all remember but I was supposed to work on Dec 2nd and 3rd after getting back from PA and leave after work on the 3rd to go down to my other Grandmother's house before getting to Disney on the 4th. Well, I talked to my Dad about taking the 3rd off completely and he said that is fine. WooHoo!! So now I will only have to work one day when I get back from PA. Hazaaaaa!!!! :yay::yay::yay: Chris is going to try and get the day off too but even if he can't his boss already told him he can leave at lunch time at least so either way we will hit the road earlier than originally planned. I'm glad about that. Getting to my Grandmother's house at midnight was not going to be a treat.
Anyways, just 9 short days and I will be on my way to Florida! I probably won't be on again until we get back from Disney because I need to focus tonight and tomorrow night to get ready for PA so I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving and for everyone that is going to WDW the same time as me I hope that you all have a safe and Magical trip! And don't be shy to say hi if you happen to see us at the resort (pop) or the parks! :grouphug:

Hey guys! I know you're probably so tired of hearing appologies from me. But I really AM sorry. I have some things going on right now that are taking prescience over doing my report here. Not that I don't want to do it, I just can't get my brain into it with what is going on right now. It's nothing serious. I hope you all understand and once everything is back on track I will come back and post about our trip if you all still want to hear about it. In the mean time, I did post all the pictures on my FB if you all are interested in seeing them.

Focus on what you need to - RL always takes precident over forums. No need to apologize. The FB pics are great btw. I still have to get a bunch of mine up there.
Hang in there! :goodvibes :thumbsup2 :)
