Well, my wife would love to be there for day 1.

Actually, if you've ever worked construction, that's not a guarantee.

My son and I will be there July 2-6. I'm really looking foward to seeing it. I plan on looking around and see if making it an add on would be worth while for us.

We will be there from7/1 to 7/7, then on to BWV for 5 days. Do you know what is planned for the opening? I don't think we will have to wait until 4:00 p.m. . . . Unless, construction is not complete.

We fly home on the July 1, but I am curious about this too. It would be fun to pop over there in the morning. What pins are you referring to, Snowgod? Our first stay there will be in October, too.

Hopefully you will not have to wait until 4pm, but I know that before the opening of any resort, Disney has cast members stay overnight in the rooms to make sure that everything is perfect. I don't know if that is necessarily the day before or a couple days before. If it is the day before, housekeeping will have to clean the room. Enjoy BCV!! Let me know how it is :)

Looking forward to pictures. The new room set-ups with better use of the eating space and increased eating capacity should be a nice addition, as well as the improved bathroom design and bedroom desk. I guess the big question is the interior public spaces and pool amenities. Of course, there is that wild card out there that people are seeing a railing on the top of the building overlooking the Epcot area. It would be a heck of a place to see fireworks. Hopefully there are plenty of elevators, a nice sitting area, and easy access to SAB.

Looking forward to those reports and pictures.

DH is referring to any limited edition pins they may have available to commemorate the opening of BCV. We expect that they will have a special pin for sale, and also look forward to checking out the place!

Whenever Disney opens a new Resort or anything else for that matter, they usually issue a special pin to commemorate the occasion.:smooth: :bounce: :p

Thanks, Snowgod. Are they available at the parks and other resorts or just at the new resort? We really haven't been into the pins but just might have to try to pick up a couple pins of our "new home.":)

I'm going to be there! I took a chance and called last week and was able to get a studio for the 1st. I can't wait!
Is anybody going to try to get together?
