Any NYC Firefighters on 7/7

We will be on the Wonder on 7/7 (first cruise). My dh is a NYC firefighter. Just wondering any others on this cruise?

in Hilton Head.

No, unortunately we were not. This has been our first vacation since 9/11.

I was just wondering...I met so many great guys and their families and one of the families had a little boy named Ryan...I just thought it might be you.

Have a wonderful time on your cruise...I know you will. Just relax and enjoy.

I think another group of FDNY families may be coming down later in the year...you might want to check that out.

We are sailing on 8/3/02 with two other families....all three hubbies are Port Authority Police of NY & NJ....also their first vacation since 9/11. All the rescue workers are in a great need of DCL vacation!!!! The kids and myself sailed on 2/23/02 but hubby could not get the time off due to work schedules. He is really looking for forward to some downtime in August.

Sometimes in the old age - we don't mean to forget someone but we do -----I would like to offer my sincere apology to PAPD - these young men and women also played such a big part in the biggest tradegy to hit the United States since Pearl Harbor - so many lives, so many wonderful act of kindness that has given at this time -----so as a add on to my previous post, I would like to extend the same invitation to write me or even call me at the shop.
Thanks again to all our heros regardless in what line of duty - This is what makes America such a wonderful place to live - if kindness is always passed on ---the someday that we all pray for will someday become a reality.
