I am trying to minimize how much "stuff" we take with us and am waffling on whether to take a stroller for a just-turned 3-yr-old or not. We are looking at booking non-stop flights, staying overnight in a hotel on both ends of the cruise, and using a towncar to get to/from the port. We are not planning any formal excursions and will also have a 6-yr-old with us.
Would you take a stroller?

I think, it depends on the kid. My 3 year old wasn't one to walk the entire length of all the gates at the airport. Maybe you could bring your umbrella stroller because they really don't take up much room. Or if you had to take your big stroller, I heard the the cruise line will store the stroller for you if you can't fit it in the closet.
Good Luck!

For a "just turned 3-yr old" -- my answer is definitely Yes! You say you're looking at booking non-stop flights but it may turn out you have to wait in the airport, especially getting through those long lines for security. If you don't have an umbrella stroller I suggest you could buy one at a resale shop for a few dollars. There were a lot of strollers during our 5/18 cruise. Many people just parked them outside their stateroom doors. HTH

We are planning to take our sit'n-stand stroller for our 18 mo and 3 1/2 y/o, but we are also going to WDW after the cruise where we will really need it. DH likes to take at least a umbrella stroller that manuvers quickly thru hotels or cruise ships to explore early in the mornings. And I second it for the airport. With all the luggage, carrry-ons and kids, it will be nice to have the kids in one spot. Also, you can take the stroller right to the gate and they will check it on right there for you. So that when you get off the plane, guess what...it's the first thing off and waits for you at the gate in your new destination. Umbrella stroller is the way to go.;)

I'm going on a 7 day cruise with my 3 year old dd and I'm am taking my umbrella stroller. It doesn't take up much space. I would rather have and not need versus needing it and not having it.

Yes, I would bring an umbrella stroller. I have a four year old that I know is going to want me to carry her. So I am bringing the stroller.

I would take it!!! I had a full size stroller with us for my dauhter and I am so glad I did. There was a few times we were up n deck and she fell aslep in it and took her nap right there so we could still be out and about while she napped in the stroller instead of having to go sit in the rom for 3 hours every afternoon for her nap.
I wouldn't recommend taking a double stroller for anyone since we saw one person with this big double strolle and it barely fit in the elevator!
