Are there any other airports in the US besides SeaTac that aren't too much farther where I might be able to find cheaper flights from?
We are about 3 hrs north of Vancouver, so the drive to seattle is long enough, but for a cheaper flight we might drive further, lol.

There's Bellingham Airport, which is about 2 hours closer than SEA - BLI (but most flights to MCO from BLI stop at SEA anyway LOL). Of course, there's YVR too, but the taxes/fares are nuts and there are NO direct flights to/from MCO from YVR, as I'm sure you know.

I think the airlines that fly out of BLI to MCO are Allegiant and Horizon. Here's the link to the airport:

There's also Portland, OR Airport - PDX, here's the link:

That's quite a drive for you though...

I'd just fly out of SEA - it's easier to get direct flights to/from MCO from there and driving 5+ hours to the airport is long enough for you, I'm sure LOL :goodvibes

I just got an email from Travelzoo, alerting me that Travelocity.com is having a sale on flights to Orlando. One of the gateways with the cheap airfare is Seattle. $183 pp roundtrip. However, they are connecting flights, not non-stop flights. On the Travelocity site, select "Flexible Dates" to get sale prices. Check it out.

You could try Spokane.

We're about 4 hours from Vancouver and are contemplating the drive to Seattle but we're going in the winter and not sure we want to brave the Coq. though flying out of seattle saves us 1/2 the price of flights.

The other thing is that West Jet flies to Orlando and sometimes you can get pretty good deals out of Calgary - you have to really watch though.

We're on the island and we try to save as many airmiles as we can so we can fly Comox, Nanaimo or Victoria to Seattle then we purchase tickets to fly to Orlando.
I can't believe the price difference between the YVR flights and SEA flights, they are more than half off! :sad2:
