Wow! Beautiful photos of beautiful plants.
I tried to order a Gardenia corsage last year for my mom on the occasion of her surprise 80th birthday but the florist wouldn't let me. He says after an hour or two it will turn brown!
One of my siblings recently bought my mom a gardenia plant for indoors. I guess it's too cold up north to grow them outside????

That's a tiger lily? Really? The ones I've seen here called that are much darker orange....maybe they're another variety?

The bag said said Tiger Lily in assorted colors. *shrugs* That's what I call them.
As for the gardenia turning brown, that's very true. That's why I'm afraid to cut some to bring indoors. It's a fairly young shrub, so there are only five blooms total. My Mom has one like this and a dwarf gardenia in her yard. The dwarf shrub is blooming like crazy. I snapped a picture of it last weekend.
