Best restrooms at Disney

I started yacking about this on another post, and got to thinking....this is a subject that could be fun!

So are there any restrooms at Disney that when you walked in you said WOW!

For me the restroom off of the lobby of the Beach Club is stunning, but very small.

The restroom off of the entrance to Sanna at DAKL Kindani Village is absolutely gorgeous! I was even tempted to take out my camera, but didn't want to spend the night in jail. :lmao:

And my vote for the best kept secret.....The wash rooms at any of the three golf clubs! SHOWERS! If you ever need a place to grab a quick shower between a hot sweaty day of park hopping, and you don't have a room at Disney, you can hop right in, take a shower, and change your clothes. The Osprey Ridge has probably the easiest access from the parking lot!

I think the worst restroom I have ever seen at a Disney park is the one near city hall at Disneyland. Room for about three people! :confused3

The restrooms just outside the Walt Disney Theater, and in the Adult entertainment district are deserted in the mornings! :thumbsup2

You mean the giant "suck-o-matics"... There is a trip report on the DIS somewhere where the guy talks about the toilets and there ability to suck you right out of your cabin!

Lack of ventilation.....check.

Proximity to the living quarters.....check

Plain ole white bathroom in the cabin, compared to granite and vivid colors in the restrooms in the adult entertainment area of the ship......check!

I can't participate since I haven't memorized Auntie Mame in it's entirety; but perhaps someone will take pity on me and answer my query:

My sister, whom I hope to travel to Disney with next year is a fearful pooper. We can't even share a hotel room because she can't go if someone else is nearby.
In case of an emergency....(and my sister can hold it in like nobodies business)...but just in case...where are there single unit bathrooms around the world?

Thank you, I mean, what do some of these people DO?!?!? I had a friend who worked in my same area when I started...she gave me the bathroom tour..."go here, DON'T EVER go here..." :). Very handy!

The best bathroom I've had would be my Cat 3 on the Magic. That's far bigger than anything I have at home!

Go to the last peformance of Hoop Dee Doo Review then hang around for a while after it ends.

All of our female friends have seen the mural by waiting and then having us give them the "all clear" to see it afterward.

I'll see if anyone has a picture of it. I seem to recall a picture.

I've seen some pretty nice restrooms at WDW.....but the ones that come off as being a bit on the "not-so-Disney-esque" side are a couple that I've seen in the World Showcase. I believe one was in Morocco, but I don't remember where the other one was.

Isn't that because they didn't want to flaunt alot of indoor plumbing in Liberty Square proper, since it was set in Colonial Times? Its so out of the way since you technically aren't in the same land. I know the ones in Harbour House are on the Fantasyland Side.

My favorite went away when the old Fireworks Factory on PI closed many years ago. In the men's room there, there was a window over the urinals that looked into the bar area. From the bar side it looked like a mirror behind the bottles.

A real challenge for those with bashful bladder.

I despise public bathrooms, so I haven't been in many at WDW. I am a nanny. I can work an 11 hour day without going to the bathroom, and most of my friends can, too.

Having said that, I like the bathroom at Yacht Club near Yachtsman Steakhouse. It has a lovely basket of washcloths near the sink so you can wash your face. I found that to be such a thoughtful detail! :)

I love this thread. I pride myself on knowing where bathrooms are whereever I go as I have a bladder the size of a pea. But you folks are amazing. Especially Mike with knowing how to fit in a shower if need be.

On the left coast....

The wicker toilets in the ladies room at Club 33 really have to been seen to be believed. Yes, we did have our female friends on look out and give us the all clear to go in there to sneak a peak.

I obviously didn't use one for its intended purpose, but was unique to look out.

At the Nagoya airport, the ladies room had a series of holes (with footprints so you'd know which way to face) and yet, my hotel had a potty with a heated cushioned seat, electronic mozart music, and a very surprising warm jet of water as the grand finale. The last little flourish was just too much for a jet lagged country girl. I hollered, jumped up, and hit me head on the opposite wall. A Gaijin in wonderland -- indeed.
