I'm glad you liked the pizza.. because DH got a pizza one day and I took a bite to taste it and wasn't that impressed. But my DH liked it. But the breadsticks are good. Also, I'm jealous you got chip and dale.. I didn't even see them this time.

Ahhhh I have to say, it's kind of nice to be home. It's so cool here and I've totally just flaked out all day. I need some downtime to recover. The trip was wonderful as usual though and I can't wait to get back in (hopefully) February.

I last left off with Koda bring Minnie some pretty blue flowers. We saw Donald and Goofy after but for some reason I can't get those pictures to upload so you guys will just have use your imaginations!;)

It was super hot so we decided to go use our Kilimanjaro Safaris Fastpasses and then scoot on out of Animal Kingdom. The first thing I noticed on the way? MORE BUTTERFLIES!:eek:

My mom had to use the bathroom so before getting in the FP line I wandered around Africa snapping some pictures.

They were making these people at the Tusker House restaurant dance. It was pretty fun to watch!

Finally we were ready to board. With our Fastpasses, we walked right on. I swear, you can tell just by looking at this picture how hot it was that day! I'm starting to look like a shiny lobster here.:rotfl:

Now I won't post all of the safari pictures because the animals were not so active in the afternoon. We did luck out and get pretty close to the giraffes though! Our driver had to keep stopping the truck and telling this man at the back to sit down about every five minutes though. Boy oh boy, you could tell he was really getting angry! I don't know if the man didn't speak English or something, but he would not stop standing up to take pictures. By the end of the trip the CM was getting kind of snappy with him... although I don't blame him a bit! It must have been really frustrating for him to have to be babysitting a grown man instead of being able to tell us about the animals etc.

We walked the Pangani trail after KS. The gorillas were actually fairly active!

After Pangani we finally left. The bus was there just as we got to the station, woo hoo! We arrived back at the YC and promptly fell asleep in our lovely air conditioned room! It wasn't until we woke up an hour or two later that we realized Mousekeeping had left this little surprise in our room:

We showered and changed out of our AK clothes and decided to go get sundaes for dinner from Beaches and Cream. Ahhh walking through the YC lobby on the way out is just so gorgeous.

We both decided we were going to skip any "actual" food and go straight for the sundaes. It seemed like a fun idea and they were delicious but when it got right down to it, they were so sweet that we could barely eat half of them and then ended up hungry later. Oh well, our intentions were good LOL and now we have a memory of eating sundaes for dinner at WDW!

I got chocolate and vanilla ice cream with peanut butter, hot fudge sauce, whipped cream and almonds. YUM.

Everytime I plan a Disney trip I keep thinking we'll go to beaches and creme or Downtown Disney for an ice cream dinner but it never seems to happen. It might be one of those things that seem like a good idea but when it comes down to it-they just aren't. Kind of like our emormous inner tube we have at the cottage. It's black so when it's hot and sunny (you know swimming weather) no one wants to use it because it burns to touch. So it just sits there. It seemed like a good idea. Who doesn't want to frolic on the lake in an inner tube built for four? Sometimes we sit on it on the beach (after placing our towels down first for protection).

I love the safari- but sometimes it erks me when you don't get to see a lot.
