When I went in January they was taking a bottle of red wine around the resturant and topping up people's glasses.

In September this never happened. So tbh I'm not sure.

When we went in February we were told the wine wasnt included as we were paying with vouchers (premium) but they would allow us to have some that day (we must have looked desperate :rotfl:)

I assumed from that that it is included normally but not if you are paying with vouchers

Hmm... wont make much difference to us either, we dont drink wine much at all.. in fact, we dont really drink at all- how boring do we sound?! :confused3

I will try to remember to look for you next week tho- we are off again ion Tuesday :)

Gosh, we aren't big drinkers but I do think the wine makes a difference to the cost of this meal - ie makes it better value as it's fairly pricey even with the interaction. I really hope they haven't stopped it - I seem to recall we were left a bottle on our table (but there were 4 adults).... ;)

We got wine & were offered a top up last Friday (8th May). We weren't paying with the vouchers. In January we were paying with the vouchers & we got a glass of wine, no cocktils & no top up.

The wine is included but not sure if you're paying with vouchers. We didn't use vouchers when we went in December and the lovely waitress was trying so hard to get us to take the bottle of wine (all she was saying was: take it, please, it's free - as if it was free, we paid 150eur for the meal we didn't eat:rotfl:)

It's £46 per adult and £16 per child - great saving verses paying while you are there! And you won't feel so bad if your daughter doesn't eat at much this time around :thumbsup2

While it's dearer than a premium voucher, the meals we have planned are totally covered by our half board plus and we couldn't justify upgrading the vouchers - in effect we could actually downgrade them for where we want to eat :-)

Emma, as you know, the atmosphere there is fab but the price is high... Don't think we'll eat there in July because the girls didn't touch anything (they wanted pasta and then didn't like it) but the cookies and 150 Eur for cookies is a little too much :rotfl2: I think we'll go to Cafe Mickey as well...

The salmon candy is salmon in pastry.
If the pasta you mention is the tortellini, it comes with an awful lot of 'green bits' which I presume are either herbs or small bits of spinach. No doubt they make it taste a lot nicer but my son regarded them with a great deal of suspicion! There may be other pasta though, I can't recall.

Hi,

We were there in mid April and were offered free wine; we declined as it was the middle of the day and went with the water. People around us who had opted for the wine seemed to be getting regular tops ups.

We booked a later sitting (14:15) and seemed to get to spend more time with the princesses, including Snow White who was absolutely brilliant with my four daughters; they sat on the floor and chatted about all sorts of stuff. Definitely recommended, although somewhat pricy for a family of 2 adults and four children.

My 15 year old ate everything - she loves her food ;-). The 12, 9 and 4 year old were too excited with the Princesses to eat much, although everyone enjoyed the puddings.

From now until 8th November, the published price in the brochure to add the Princess meal to your booking with Disney is £44 per adult, £16 per child. You just phone the normal booking reservations number 08448 008 111 to add this to your booking.

I bet you had a great time with 4 dd's and the princesses, lots of fun :)

We all had a fantastic time and it was definitely one of the highlights. Evan more surprising was that my 4 year old DD let Prince Eric pick her up and gave her a hug - she is normally very shy around people she does not know. We stayed for about 2 1/2 hours and at the end there were very few guests left so my three youngest DDs sat on the floor with Snow White and chatted away.

We booked for 14:15. Had photos/autographs with Cinderella on the way in. We then stayed until 16:30 and we were one of the few families left. Snow White and Belle were still there and were spending large amounts of time with the remaining families. Whilst we ate our food (until about 15:45) we saw all the Prince and Princesses and the Cinderella mice. I'll post a photo of Snow White with three of my DDs in the favorite photo thread - now that I'm allowed to post links :)

We went at 12 for it opening (as did half the park lol) and Cinderella greeted us with Suzy & Perla (the mice) as we went in. Then about 15 mins later (once we were seated and had ordered) the Princesses/Princes turned up :goodvibes I found, as one of the first sittings, you get more attention as the restaurant isn't too full (as it does get later say by about 2 pm), and the Princesses/Princes go around the other tables but do come back to you and keep interacting with you as they go to other places :goodvibes

We didn't see Aurora, only Cinderella, Belle, Ariel and Snow White and some mice from Cinderella. However, there is a "show" outside the castle about lunch time (I think) and Princess Aurora stars in this. At the end she goes around and signs autographs.

We've seen Aurora 2 out of 3 times in Auberge, but as mentioned you'll definitely see her at the Sword in the Stone in front of the castle in Fantasyland for her mini show.
Just occurred to me if your daughter likes Aurora because she wears pink (can you tell I have a small princess-mad daughter?), be warned she often wears her blue dress in the show and Auberge, but pink in the parade.

It has been the same every time we've been, you'd think they'd be used to it by now!
This is our 4th time and we've never been sat by the dancefloor so I'm definitely requesting that this time.
Cinderella did used to come round, before they figured out they could make a great deal more money by having pictures at the front. The next development will no doubt be pay an extra 10 euros for a photo with her in front of her carriage. :scared1:

We ate here on 26th May and it hit the usual highs. This was the 4th time we've eaten here, and the first time we have been seated at the dance floor, at my request. Suzy and Perla were slightly crazy today, never seen them in quite that mood before, but we were first in the queue and Cinderella had to help them up from the floor where they'd fallen as they'd been spinning round so much, and then they were in the photo too (they did behave for the photo!).
We saw Sleeping Beauty and Prince Phillip, Ariel and the best Snow White ever, all before we'd even had food which I prefer as you can then eat in peace and just watch what's going on.
DH and I had the scallops and asparagus risotto which was heavenly as usual, DS had the pasta and made a decent dent in it and DD ate a good amount of steak hache too, although wouldn't touch her mashed potato as it had 'green bits' in it. The children's starter has changed slightly since we were there at Xmas I think, since they had a melon cappuccino in a shot glass next to their tuna dip and tomato & mozzarella. Neither of the children ate it but DH & I thought it was delicious!
We didn't have vouchers and were asked if we did before being told the wine was included....we had - ahem - 3 glasses each so the waitress was very attentive on this.

My question is - has anyone been in the evening? - it looks like most people have been between 12.00- 4.30pm. I was going to do it at say 7pm or something like that? are they open then?

We haven't been in the evening, but, it is well worth it when you see the smiles on your daughter's face, especially if she loves the Disney princesses. Chances are she wont eat much of the food, maybe the puddings. If you have premium vouchers then you are covered for Auberge. If you have the other vouchers then you can put the face value of the vouchers towards the cost of Auberge. We were there from 14:15 until about 16:30 in April and at the end the place was pretty much empty - just a couple of other families.

yes I quite like a main meal in the middle of the day as well- it breaks up the day a bit especially when the park is open late and gives you chance to sit down and have a rest and escape the crowds.
The rides are then often quieter in the evenings as day trippers have gone home and lots of others are all trying to eat
