Just added on 60 points at my home resort SSR :cool1:

I can understand how addonitis can develop. I haven't even been a member for a year yet but realized that 200 points were not enough.
When I was finishing up my conversation on the phone today with my guide I was already planning in my head another add on in a few years when DS and DD are both out of college (can you imagine)!!!:rotfl:

Congratulations. I know the feeling. I bought resale in February with the plan of not adding on at BLT until August when we went. Well, I made it 7 days!!!!

Now, I am adding on to BLT again in a few weeks! Want to do it before the incentives go away--rumored to be June 15th.

We will be at VWL in August so have a great trip!!!!

I'm 90 away from the 1000 pt club... started with 200 in may of last year. Addonitis will always be a disease i carry for a long time. Just not sure if i want to add on to a current home or try another.... maybe BLT.

Well I started with 200 points last June and currently own 500 points so yes it is a bad disease with no known cure.

I started off with 160 points in 2007 and within 1 year I was up to 340 points. Now I am trying to fight off addonitis for another 100 points or so. :rolleyes1

We started in 2006 with 175 points thinking... that's a great amount. We shouldn't need any more then that... and now we have 800! And I SO want to add on some more now! I'm fighting the dreaded disease... but I'm not sure how long I can last!

OK I have to add myself to this list and confess I am also have a confirmed case. It appears to me my case is not as extreme as some already posted here but I have more of a long term chronic case.

We joined in 1998 with 210 points and knew for sure we had more than we would ever need. Fast forward to 2009 and now we have 1,200 and know for a fact I am not finished yet. Can we say Hawaii DVC...you are on my radar big time!!!

I have tried everything to cure this chronic case I have but I think I have not found the right combination of items to get this out of my body and mind. Pretty soon there is going to be a support group being formed for many of us to deal with this incurable infliction...:lmao:

Well, I am glad that I am not the only person who is fairly new and fighting this "bug." We have been members for just about six months. We were sure that we had more than an adequate amount of points, but it appears that owning DVC is changing our travel habits - we are planning more trips that we thought that we would. So, in my head I am thinking that we will need more points, but I also keeping telling myself...must...wait...a....year....or....so...to see....if we really....do...need them. ;)
