Refillable Mugs and McDonald's

I guess it's safe to assume that we can't use our mugs in the McDonald's by the All-Star Resorts for our drinks correct? However, I was wondering if anyone knows if we're allowed to bring our mugs into McDonald's if we filled it at the All-Star Resort? I was hoping we could fill our mugs at our hotel and then go eat at McDonald's. Would the employees at McDonald's say anything to us? Thanks!

Why don't you pick up McDonalds and take it back to the resort. Assuming two adults, maybe one could go fill the mugs and the other could get the food and you could just meet back at the room?

Thanks! I think we'll do that at some point on this trip, but DH likes to watch the Disney movie there while eating. Am I just worrying for no reason? Wouldn't be the first time! :Pinkbounc

I think it would all depend on the store or more likely the employees working that day. At home I often bring in starbucks when we go to McD's for breakfast with no trouble.

Back here in the wilds of Wisconsin, I take my Kwik Trip coffee mug into Mickey D's for breakfast. Its 1000x better.

We've stayed at All Stars three times... and NEVER had a problem with our mug of coffee while the kids eat.

Nobody ever bothered us... in fact we got wonderful treatment from the Mcdonalds...the lines were never horrible (but we are EARLY risers)

I use to work at Mcdonalds and the policy then was as long as you buy something from McDonalds you were welcome to bring your other (food)items in. You shouldn't have a problem bringing you Mug in as long as you purchase something from McDonalds. My son doesn't like McD's and I get him tacos and then we go in to McD's and I order a #1 and we sit and eat there,no one has ever said anything to us ever. I hope this helps. :bounce:
