Feeling Scared and Blue.

I have been waiting for some test results to come back from the Doc and they came back yesturday with not good results. Well half of them came back turns out our lab lost the rest of them. Got a call they are found but I am suppose to call my Doctor at 5 today. Now I am being referred to a specialist and got to go for a cat scan and an MRI the whole thing has got me freaking out. I left his office in tears yesturday. My hubby told me to try take my mind off of it and keep myself busy today. So here I am on the Dis. Trying to keep busy but can't seem to get my mind off of it. :surfweb: I am on scared girly! :sad2: Thanks for listening sometimes talking about it some strange way makes it feel a little better.

As a person who "starts with death and works backward," any time I have something going on medically, I can empathize. Distraction is a good thing.

I too went through a scary time not too long ago, but it was my DH and not I. Like you I spoke about it on the DIS and the support I got made me feel TONS better. :thumbsup2

Well the doc phoned and the rest of the tests dont look good either off to the doctor tomorrow. My dear hubby is coming with me because i can't seem to get my emotions under control. :sad1:

Sending more good thoughts :grouphug: I'm glad your hubby will be going with you to the appointment. It's good to have another pair of ears and eyes in scary situations. Just remember that even though we women tend to be afraid to ask for help, we need to! We all need help here and there. Vent away here and remember that you are not alone in dealing with scary stuff!

Thank you everyone. I went to the initial Doctor that ordered my tests and he explained things much more clearly so i do feel somewhat better about things or at least well enough to stop crying for more than 20 minutes. I went for more blood work today. and have to go back tomorrow and an untrasound and being referred to 2 specialists. So even though it still is rotten I had things reviewed and explained to me in terms I understand. Thanks again for listening everyone. :hug:

I'm glad you were not left in the dark for very long and that you have a good supporting husband. Not knowing is so draining. At least you know what you have to deal with and you can put your energy into doing what is needed to get the right treatment. My thoughts and positive energy are being sent your way.

Thanks. Yes I know there will be alot more test to do and until they pin point what the problem is forsure and what is causing it it will be tough. But at least now I do understand it a bit more.
