taxi to Huntington Beach? surfing lessons?

Hello,
I'm wondering if anyone has taken a taxi from a hotel near Disneyland to Huntington Beach, and if so, what the approximate cost was? We would need to seat 5 or 6 people. We're thinking of taking surfing lessons there - I don't suppose surfing companies would provide transportation there? Would anyone be able to recommend a company that provides surfing lessons?

I don't know if this helps, but I found that a regular taxi to the beach from Disney will run around $50. I know that for the same amount (or under) you could rent a car/van from carrentals.com. Then you would have the freedom of going and coming when you wanted.
