Belated Birthday Present

Today I received my belted birthday present to myself. I'm part of a birthdy group in our department at work. Everyone pitches in $15 for the birthday person. My birthday was at the end of March but I couldn't decide what I wanted to get with the money. I ended up just leaving it in my backpack and using it as my ATM. Well Sunday I finally figured out what I wanted and ordered it. For some reason I've been thinking about Queer As Folk a lot lately. I have no idea why but I have. Over the weekend I saw Hal Sparks on VH1 Classic and that got me thinking bout it again. I only saw a couple seasons b/c I didn't have Showtime during the other seasons. So for my belated birthday present to myself I went on to Amazon and ordered the complete series on DVD! Now that I got caught up on my DIS threads I can go enjoy some QAF! :happytv:

I just hope I can watch them all. I read on the Amazon reviews many people complain about the packaging and how their discs popped out of the holder and were scratched. With each season I had at least 2 discs that popped out. One looks a little smudged but I didn't notice any major scratches. I watched the pilot (episodes 1&2) and at one point it stuttered a little. Going to watch 1 more tonight before bed. I'm beat.
