The Google camera car drove by our place in Mississauga on Monday. Youngest Hamette and I ran out to wave at it.
The vehicle is taking images to feed Google Street View (http://maps.google.com/help/maps/streetview/)

Yesterday I saw the Google camera car east bound on the Queensway at Dixie in Mississauga.
Today I saw it parked at a Tim Hortons on Hwy 10/ Hurontario in Port Credit.

I saw the Google car a couple of weeks ago at Yonge and Eglinton and then a couple of days after that on the Gardiner. I thought about following it and making funny faces :)

I saw the Google car at the beginning of May in Ajax when we were moving stuff out of my house. There's a Uhaul in the driveway!

Too cool!!! When they were in Winnipeg this spring, the CBC was complaining that they were'nt get any good photos...all the melting snow...at least these photos show that Canada has leaves on trees. LOL.

I saw the Google camera car at our local Golden Arches last spring.
They then came along our street and my neighbour is seen standing at the school bus drop off waiting for her daughter.

You have to check out the contest in the Globe & Mail (I think it was the globe it may have been the Star) for funniest google street view pic. Your pics side-by-side are hilarious!

Okay, after reading about Google street view, I had to check out my street. As I'm looking at the pictures of my house and going around the street. There is a picture of my son and a neighbour's daughter talking and looking at the car. I now know that on that day he wasn't mowing the lawn like he was suppose to be. Busted.:rotfl:
