Carol. Let us know how you are. I see there was quite a bit of damage this morning in the Madison area. I hope it wasn't around your house!

Still nothing? I'm a little concerned too, John.
Carol ~ I hope you're just REALLY busy at work or finishing the garage or reading my short novel or something, lol.
Check in when you can!!
I was hoping we'd hear by now too. I know a tornado was confirmed and there were no injuries. So, I feel confident that she is OK. I know some houses were damaged and power knocked out to some areas. Hopefully we'll hear soon!

Just talked to Carol. Rick had his knee replacement surgery yesterday and she was at the hospital last night. Today she's busy at work. She said she'll be on later.

Wow, ya'll - somebody goes offline for a day and the whole world goes crazy!!! :grouphug:
Thanks everybody for your concern!! Honestly, I didn't really even know there was a problem! Ignorance is bliss!!
As I may have mentioned, Rick had knee replacement surgery yesterday. We had to be at the hospital at 6:00 am yesterday, so I was stuck there in and out of the waiting room with only a TV on CNN Headline news all day. (I did hear the sirens, but the hospital is way at the other end of town from us and nothing really looked that bad.)
When Rick finally got into a room about 2pm that afternoon, we didn't even have the TV on. We were pretty busy all afternoon, talking to nurses, talking to the Dr., getting his leg motion machine set up and get his pain meds at the right level and making sure he was getting all his home meds in the right doses, etc. By the time that was all done, they brought his dinner, and I was famished myself cause I had nothing but a couple of donuts in the waiting room that morning., so I went through a drive through on the way home, fixed a drink and crashed.
Work is always a bit hectic the 1st hour or so in the morning, and as a matter of fact, I was on the phone with Rick when Donnie called. He's fine. Actually walked across the room this morning a couple of times.
We had NO damage at home and never lost power. From what I've heard it was a bit west and a bit Northeast from our actual house.
Unless something goes wrong, Rick will be home on Saturday, and we WILL still be at the Memorial Day gathering weekend about mid morning Friday.
Thanks again for thinking about me ya'll!!!!!
