I'd like to know the course already, like are we running on the Angels field? I know it's still a kinda far away but come on Disney, get with it.:thumbsup2

I have a feeling that the issue with the course is construction. Since the DL race, unlike WDW, is on city streets it is often the case that the course isn't finalized until close to the race day. Back in 2007 there was a 10 mile road race here and the course was changed the Wednesday before the run because they decided to file Spiderman in Cleveland (well, part of it) and they weren't done on schedule.
I would also look at the Angels schedule. If they are home you probably won't be on the field, if they are on the road you probably will.
Good luck in the race, I did it in 2006 and enjoyed it.

Here is the 2008 course from my website. The Angels are on the road so we should run through Angels Stadium(they had an early home game last year). Relax and go with the flow. There will be little change from this map. :thumbsup2

I'm not worried about the course and I have looked at the map on your site. I'd just like for them to have it listed, but like it's been said, a lot probably has to do with construction at DCA.

If you run Disney race, expect things to be fluid. If you want top run a Half at DL(and LA area) sign up and deal with whatever the course is. Don't fret the details. You are going to have only a few miles on property and rest in Anaheim. That's the way it goes.

When I spoke to the Disneyendurance people at the Princess Half, He said somethings would change a bit. He did mention the fast that the races would be able to run through the stadium and that the finish was going to be different. He said last year's finish area was just "too tight" and crowded. They were changing it so it would be like that.

Guess what was just announced today? Go check your email and/or the race web site! We will get to run through Angels Stadium and there is a "brand new final mile" fnishing up near the DLH.

Slight changes in CA Adventure, no run down Main Street, but we're going through Angel's Stadium once again this year!
Slight detour coming out of Angels Stadium area to make up distance.
No more finish through Downtown Disney. Instead, exit CA Adventure, loop around Paradise Pier hotel, and back to finish line near Disneyland hotel.

It appears to me, that the first overpass next to the Mickey & Friends Parking lot has been eliminated!
We will now be exiting somewhere Backstage onto Disneyland Drive. I think near the bottom of the downslope of the overpass, just before the right hand turn onto Ball Road.
Whoo hooo, one less hill. :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl::laughing:
