We are staying at RPR for the first time from 6/25-30. What is a Loew's "Welcome Home" gift? I may not have the right title for it, so I apologize for that. Something about having a bottle of wine and crackers in the room when you check in? Does anyone know about this, or am I reading only what I WANT to see?:rolleyes1...only cause it would be so cool!
Thanks!

I think it is a welcome gift for certain levels of the loews you first rewards. I'm going for the first time to Universal this June, and I am a blue level and I know that level does not get a welcome gift. If you go to www.loewshotels.com you can check out the benefits of each level. I think gold and plat. are the only levels that get welcome gift in room upon check in. I think you become gold after about 5 stays.

This is totaly off subject, but if you ever stay at a wyndam hotel or resort, make sure you sign up for their rewards program. It is free to sign up (like most rewards clubs), but you get a welcome gift on EVERY visit. We stayed at one in St. Louis and got wine and beer and fruit & nuts. We stayed at another in Nashville, TN and got beer and cheese and crackers! They have a preference form you fill out about what kind of drinks/snacks you prefer.

Wow! That is great to know. Thanks! Even though I already made my ressie, can I still sign up for the reward, and use the ressie to count as 1 stay?

Thank you so much!

We've had a welcome gift a couple of times when staying with a qualifying rate. I remember we opted for the $10 mini-bar credit once.

I've seen pictures of others receiving the c. chip cookies and milk, or fruit and wine, etc.

Thank you so much for the info! I just signed up for Lowes YouFirst. Hopefully, I will be able to become a gold member soon (if my DH goes for all the "needed" hotel stays!):rotfl: Do I show them my membership at check in? I already booked my room at RPR.

Thanks again!

You'll want to call and add your Loews YouFirst number to your reservation. Also, not sure how often they update a member's status, but I hope you get bumped to gold before your trip.
