Does every room rented for yor guests go toward your minimum? OR how does that work?
Also, what about people with DVC? Does that count?

DVC does count toward your room night count. All you have to do is give the reservation number to your planner.
Also even if your guests don't book though the wedding number because they get a better deal you can add them like DVC through your planner.

Does the "room night count" go toward the minimum?

Yes - you meet your minimum based on room NIGHTS, not rooms.
So even if you only had 5 families staying in one room per family, if they each stayed 5 nights, you would meet a 25-night minimum.

I think I am dense. Is the room night & the wishes wedding minimum diferent? Or do the room nights go toward the $10, 500 total minimum?
Sorry, I just I am not too sure.

Ah - I see what you're asking! No, the cost of the rooms does not count toward the overall minimum expenditure for having a Wishes wedding.
Basically, you have two minimums to meet for a Wishes event: room nights and expenditure.
The only things that count toward your overall minimum expenditure are products and services you buy through Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings, like venue fees, food, beverages, floral and decor, photography, videography, transportation (on the wedding day)...
