Paris to DL and dl to paris ??

Hi
We will be spending 5 days at beginning of our 11 day trip un DL then it,s a week in paris ..but we are thinking of going one more day at end of trip ( in fact the day prior the return home ) to get a little magic to bring home :)

How far from paris is DL we will lodge in the neighboorhood of les halles ???
Is it easy to get to DL from paris and again back in paris from DL we wil spend the day at DL and will probably leave Dl around 900pm is transportation slower that time of day ( it will be à thursday night ) ???
Because the next morning will be our retourn back home and an early morning for us ..
I think we have a RER station right at the corner of our hotel will rer still work that time of night ???
how long of a ride am I to expect ???

Its about 30-40 mins and the station you need that will be closest to you is Chatelet les halles

and yes the RER will still be running at that time
