Hey everyone time for my announcement.


I have made a PS for 40 people at the Hoop-De-Doo (http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/waltdisneyworld/resorts/restaurants/featuredrestaurantindex?id=FWRHoopDeeDooMusicalRev ueRest) on Tuseday Decmeber the 3rd.

It will be for the 7:15 show and you need to arrive at least 30 minutes before showtime.

The cost per person is $48.76 ($39.50 + 6% tax + 15% Grat.)

The childs(3-11 years) price is $24.99($20.50 + 6% tax + 15% Grat.)

I will email you with payment instruction closer to the time, but all monies will have to be in to me by October 31st, so I can get the money to Disney by November 11th.

All this is subject to change depending on what Pete puts together. But as of this time I am pretty sure it is a go.

Update: 7/03/02

I have 40 signed up, so I called and expanded my reservation to 50 people. So of all of you new folks coming overfrom the other boards to sign up for DISCON please join us if you are able.


Some of you were concerned about me having to pay the service fee from paypal on credit card transactions, if you want to throw in an extra $1.70 per ticket for that you can. If not, it was my fault for not including it, and will cover it.

It is all starting to come together I am getting excited

As for what to do before it, I am not sure.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I for one would love a blizzard beach day, and then maybe have an alternate if the weather is uncooperative.

But I am game for just about anything.

I wouldn't mind a day at BB. That would be fun. Although, I'm pretty much a lazy river person. I don't do the super slides. There are parts of my body that just don't appreciate them. ;) I've done the tube slides. But those stairs to get up there are killers. I do love the family raft ride, though! That's the best one I've ever been on! :D :D

If I have to be at the HDD by 6:45 P.M, I wonder how much time that I should allow to get there. I here that the marina is very close to HDD. Like a boat ride from MK or WL.

I'd love to rent one of those family horse drawn carriages through the FWCG, too.

I wonder if anyone would like to stay after HDD and roast marshmellows over a campfire and then watch the nightly Disney outdoor cartoon.

I'm just putting out some ideas.

I'd like to do the lazy river, too, Barb. Doesn't Blizzard Beach have that ski lift up to that family raft ride. I could do that , too...lol.

Welllll, we were thinking about doing the MVMCP on that night, but I've done that. I've never done the HDD! I'll have to get Kevin's opinion I guess, darn it! HAHA It sounds good to me. I can't do the marshmellow roast though. Katelyn has informed me they aren't vegetarian. :( But hey, maybe I'll find some vegetarian ones ahead of time and come after all!!

Patrick, I hope you got the email I sent you the other day! I really want to do this! I guess this means I have to get to work on the rest of my plans for DIS-CON! :D

of course, this means I'll have to convince Barry that we really ARE going to DIS-CON!!! shhhhhhh......... He doesn't know I'm already working on it. He's starting to come around. It will just take me a little while longer to get him to agree. He really does want to go. He just doesn't know that yet. He WAS talking tonight about where he wants to stay, and I wasn't the one who started the conversation! :) ;)
