WDW Ocala welcome station

Has anyone had any experience with discounted rooms at the WDW Ocala welcome station. We may be making a last minute trip and are wondering what type of discounts they offer. We know they will not give any prices or availability over the telephone.

Good post - would like to hear some info on this also. But in any event, I'd have a back up and a prior post I read for the Marriott Courtyard at the Village for $20.02 sounds like a great deal.

Previous posters on this subject have reported that the Ocala Welcome Center has not been offering any discounted rooms in 2002. I have seen no new posts yet to contradict that.

It used to be that the Ocala location offered last minute discounts, but they no longer do that. They do have discount info for Florida residents or Annual Pass holders. We stopped there in late May to purchase APs and I asked about discounts on rooms at that time.
