On the boat, can you have Mickey call you for a wake-up call like they do at WDW resorts?
Thanks,
Suzanne

Mickey will be happy to wake you up whenever you want him to. Just be careful - last year if we didn't listed to his entire message he tended to call us back and try to wake us again!:)

THank-you so much! My DD (3yrs) loved hearing mickey wake her up in the morning and from her nap so I know she'll look forward to this on the cruise.:D

it was really easy to program a wakeup call too...

And if you want to be REALLY sure you will be up, pre-order room service breakfast the night before and specify your wake-up time. They are extremely punctual, and sometimes even early (if they're running early, they will call first).

Just seeing this thread brought back audio memories of our cruise last year (May '01 Eastern). Mickey does a great job with his wake-up message.
Hard to believe we will be hearing him again in just over a week.... June 22 Magic Western!

I knew I forgot to do something! We had Mickey wake us up every day while we were at the Grand Floridian, but I forgot all about having a wake up call on the ship. Is the message any different on the ship? Darn!

How cute :) We had the same problem with the wake up calls. We refered to him as "Stalker Mickey". He just wouldn't leave us alone at all :)
I was really disappointed with the wake up message. I expected something nautical like Ahoy Mates ! Get up or you will have to walk the plank. Well something like that anyway ;) I was really disappointed that it was the regular message from the resorts :(

Thanks,
I'm glad we didn't miss anything "different", but I'm with you. I would think they'd have a different message for the ship. Too bad...maybe you could suggest it?;)
