To the podcast cruisers who get to hear Mr. Cockerell's talk and get the free book, I hope you enjoy the experience and the book.
I heard Lou Mongello interview him and have read Lee Cockerell's blog. He seems to be a very intelligent and interesting person. I think his lessons in leadership would be very useful to me in my work.
To the podcast cruisers who get the book that may not want to keep it for their personal collections, I'd be interested in making a deal with you.

I tihnk we're going to put ours on ebay. Just kidding!!! I am so super excited about this. I love Disney and DH appeases me. But I think he'll really enjoy listening to Mr. Cockerell speak and reading the book because of his leadership position also.

I bought Lee Cockerell's book when it first came out. Incredible book. After I read the book, I discovered that he also has the book in audio format. I downloaded the audio book. The audio book is narrated by Lee Cockerell himself.
I met Lee Cockerell at Mousefest last December. He told me about his experience in recording the book. It took several days to get it "just right". Since I didn't have his book with me, he signed a printed cover of the book.
If you want some fascinating reading about the workings of The Walt Disney Company, buy his book. Better yet, buy both his book AND his audio book. You will get something different from each of the book and audio book.

I bought Mr. Cockerell's book long ago and I keep it on my shelf in my office at work. Whenever anyone notices it I recommend they read it. It's a great book and offers lessons that are useful for anyone.
I'm so bummed to miss his presentation -- and all the fun stuff -- I wish I could go on the cruise!!! Oh well, it just was not to be this year for me. I look forward to hearing everyone's trip reports and seeing photos afterwards. Please, please everyone, take pictures! Write trip reports!
