Hi.
My family and I canceled a holiday to Mexico. For obvious reasons.
But is it true there's been 2 confirmed cases of it in FL WDW?
We were going to change the holiday to there..
What are peoples suggestions?

I haven't seen any confirmed cases around stating that it's at WDW. That's a rumor unless someone can find a listing for a confirmed case in Orlando, let alone at WDW.

All Walt Disney Parks and Resorts sites, including the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, continue to operate normally at this time. All Theme Parks continue to operate according to their published operating hours and Entertainment Offerings continued to be offered per the published schedules.

As always, the safety and well-being of our Guests and Cast Members is our first priority. I'm sure Disney is monitoring the situation and will act on the advice and recommendations of the relavent authorities if necessary.

It is true that they finally released the confirmation from the CDC that a 14 yr old girl from Mexico tested positive for the swine flu.

This is from today (Sunday)
ORLANDO -- The Florida Department of Health Sunday confirmed the first case of Swine Flu in Central Florida.

The flu victim, 14-year-old girl visiting Orange County from Mexico, has since returned home with her family.

* Flu Warning In Depth
* Swine Flu Q & A

The teen was immediately treated with the drug Tamiflu. She has since made a fully recovery, and is not contagious.

Health officials told News 13 the girl and her family visited many places in Orange County.

More people die from the regular flu as someone said! Just wash your hands and don't touch your face!
