I've done Dumbo and Cinderella's Golden Carousel, but never quite gotten the courage to do this one alone. Anyone ever done this as an adult unaccompanied by children?

We always do barnstorm ride and every other ride in fantasyland. After all thats why we go to the magic place, to be a kid again. Were 2 adults 65+ in years 10+ in attitude.:jester: :jester:
I have done this ride solo, it is alot of fun but it HAS to be the shortest ride in WDW!

I waited till I went with my niece and her son to try it out. He was 4. The first thing he said when he got off the ride was that it was too short.
But we both liked it otherwise.

I done this ride solo a few times. They always seated me in my own row, which is always easier socially. The ride is rather quick!! Must be about half a minute long, if that!

I haven't tried Barnstormer solo, but then again I don't usually visit Mickey's Toontown at MK .... too many other things to see!

Absolutely! It is FUN! The seats are so small...It is much better sitting by yourself and having more leg room. I've seen lots of adults ride solo.

ALL the time!!! And here's a tip - Goofy usually joins the first few rides. It's great to watch the lucky kid who gets to sit up front with Goofy.
Don't worry about going on any ride solo - you're there to enjoy yourself, and who cares what people think!

I did it solo. I think it's good to do it solo, especially if you are tall or larger than the average adult. The seats are small!
I've also done these solo: TriceraTop Spin at AK, and One Fish, etc. and the Car-o-Seuss-sel at IOA. I've never gotten beef from anyone from riding them solo. In fact, on One Fish, I was the only one on the ride! :)

It definitely is a fun ride. My hubby and I don't have any kids, so we always pass on this ride, but one trip we tried it. It's really a small rush of a rollercoaster. Not as tame as you'd think. Short and sweet. Really nicely themed.

It is the first ride I did in WDW with sis and her family. I like it and it is short but on my solo trip I did it again.

DH and I went on it ourselves during our engagement trip. It was fun but short. No one seems to care that we had no kids. We each had to sit in our own car though.

My fiancee and I (24 and 25 y/o) repeatedly ride the Barnstormer during each visit. We snugly fit into one car and enjoy the short but sweet ride. We don't care what other people think!
Have fun!

i feel the same way! i think that the barnstormer is so much fun!! i have no kids, but i don't let that hold me back! it is a very short ride, but it's not as tame as you'd expect it to be...

I've also done Barnstormer with another but I'm looking forward to doing it alone as the seats were rather snug especially for us "rounded "individuals
