First Day Schedule

Is there time for the CP students to shop for things they need on the first day, and do they have time to have dinner at DTD or one of the parks? In addition, are they able start using the CP busses that evening? If so will they be given a schedule of times/place the busses pick up at WDW to take them back to their apartments?


I'm trying to figure out if we will have time to go to Walmart on the first day, and if we should make a priority dining reservation for that night or eat offsite?? Thank you in advance!:)

It depends what time you arrive for check in, and then how long it takes you to move in. The first night I was there my roommates and I went out to eat and had plenty of time to sit around and get to know each other. I was there fairly early for check in and breezed through it.

Like Korey said, a lot of it depends on how much stuff you have, and whether you feel like unpacking right away or doing it over a period of time. I remember having time the first couple days.

You can pick up a schedule at check-in, at least that's where I remember seeing them, and you can use them as soon as you get your housing ID (which is at check-in).

I'd say you had time for both dinner and Walmart!

I believe there are 2 housing meetings scheduled on check-in day, at 12 and 2/3. Depends on what time you check-in what meeting they'll put you in.

That's correct! But you should have time in the evening to go get dinner at DTD. And you WILL have time to go to Wal*Mart :).
