Another thread made me think of this one. I actually have two things, both purchased on our last trip in March. The first is one of those neat crystal blocks that has the 3D images inside etched mysteriously with bubbles (I have no idea how they accomplish this). We had them take a picture of DS on his 1st birthday and now that crystal block is sitting on my desk. It's beautiful and it is something I'll treasure forever. Of course, this wasn't cheap, but it's such a special item, and it was such a special occasion, that I could justify the expense to myself.
The second is a necklace and bracelet set that I have been lusting after for at least two years. When I first saw it I knew it was *mine*!! :D Then I saw the pricetag. The next trip I lusted after it again, and then again, and.... well, you get the picture. Well, this trip when I went to do my traditional lusting slobbering routine in the jewelry department I saw that they had cut the price by about 2/3rds!!! It was a sign from above!! I wear the set every chance I get and I know it's something I'll never tire of. I'm not really a jewelry person, but if something really pushes my buttons I'm a sucker. ;)

On our second trip to WDW my wife and I went into "The Art of Disney" in Downtown Disney. We decided to buy a set of hand painted cells. We have them hanging now in our little girl's room along with all of the lithographs from movie purchases and disney bean border.

The nicest thing was a dress for my 5-year-old daughter. All our kids were allowed to pick out a souvenier on our trip this past April and our 5-year-old said she wanted a princess dress. I told her no, because I thought it was a waste....she'd wear it once or twice...maybe Halloween...and then it would get thrown out.
Well, the poor little thing got a stomach virus the next to last night there and on the final day stayed in bed all day...getting sick.
Me and my other two kids went out shopping...and bought her Belle's dress...absolutely beautiful.
The look on her face...even though she felt so horrible...was priceless! What an investment!

My husband bought me a WDW commemorative Steiff bear from "Germany" in Epcot in 1999 for my birthday. It was a great surprise as he snuck around and arranged to pay for it and have it delivered to the room without me catching on. I love it to this day!!

Wow.. I've bought so much stuff at WDW, it's hard to remember.
I have received some great stuff as gifts: one of the crystal blocks mentioned above, a GIANT stuffed Pluto.
Out of things I've bought myself, I'd have to pick two: a purse I bought in Japan at Epcot, which I get lots of compliments on, and some pieces of a Classic Pooh kitchen set.

Well I didn't purchase it, but last year when we were there, my parents were in DD - and bought this beautiful crystal tinkerbell for my mother.
My dad looked around and found a crystal Cindy's Castle for me - it's just beautiful ! My daughter wants it in her room - but no dice!
I just love it !!!

For several years I have wanted a wooden clock from the Germany pavillion at Epcot. I knew which one and would "visit" it every time I came to Disney World. Last year my husban brought it for me for our 9th anniversary and had it delivered to our room.
Also I had a bead necklace made with my children's names. Between each name is a Mickey piece. I hang it from my rear view mirror so I see it every day.

On our honeymoon I bought my first ever Mickey watch with interchangeable rings around the face. I love it so much and it reminds me of our honeymoon each time I look at it. On our next trip, we will be bringing our 2 sons for the first time and I plan on buying another watch for me and if I can find ones that fit the boys, for them too!

my husband bought an expensive Mickey watch at Magic Kingdom that he wears all of the time, except when he is at work. He gets lots of compliments on it, and is glad he purchased it. This year, he has no idea what he wants to get
I did tell him he could just buy me something :D
My favorite, but not expensive, gift I purchased is a small stuffed Pooh bear at Dixie Landings 2 years ago. I to this day have never seen another one like it, and the face on it is adorable. It has a crocheted sweater with Pooh on it and sits on my desk at work. I also love my Winnie the Pooh picture frame I purchased at Magic Kingdom, which I put a picture of me with Pooh in it. When you press the frame, it says " Life is so much friendlier with 2". And one more thing - the Pooh Santa hat I found at the Christmas store in DTD. I wear it every Christmas with my Pooh outfit.
We'll see what trinkets fancy me this year, although I am on the lookout for a Winnie the Pooh print - anything Pooh will do, though :earseek:

I bought a poster of DANCING MICKEY at the art of Disney store at DD. It was only $20 (but I'm from Canada so it was more like $32 for us).
It was not an over the top thing and once I got home I had it framed. It looks like I paid hundreds for it and hangs over the couch and I love it.
I also love the miniature Mickey ears that I have hanging in the car.....I think of DIsney everyday for a mere $4.:)

Probably one of the least expensive things I've ever bought there is one of my favorites. A blown glass manatee from Aribas Bros. in Epcot.
It's a very small piece, only about three inches long and two inches high. He's sitting on my desk looking at me right now )

Right before we left for WDW last Thanksgiving, we purchased High School "Letter Jackets" for two of our daughters. (They didn't think they would be getting them until Christmas)
Well, while we were at WDW, my husband bought me the "100 years of Disney" leather jacket. He said that this was MY letter jacket. My school of course is University of Mickey ! My husband is such a great guy!!

Well... I thought and thought and thought about this question, and because my wife loves to shop I have had a lot of things to decide from. I finally narrowed it down to a glass sculpture we purchased on our honeymoon. I am sure people have seen these. It is a square shaped slab of glass In each corner there is a character etched into the glass goofy, donald, pluto, minnie. The corners of the glass are curved upwards slightly and the stand that this piece of glass lies on is a thicker, yet smaller. It has four spheres that the bigger piece of glass sit on and in the middle of the stand is a large etching of the mouse himself.

I love my Disney t-shirts and usually buy a couple new ones each time that I visit. Its really hard to pick the nicest thing that I've purchased, but I'll have to go with the Disney traffic sign that I purchased at the Test Track gift shop a couple years ago. Its a large bright yellow diamond with black silhouettes of Mickey, Donald, and Goofy with the words X-ING underneath. I have it on the wall of my cube at work and it takes me back to the magic every day.
My youngest son's (21 y.o.) favorite souvenir is his Rock 'N Roller Coaster hockey jersey....expensive but well worth it.

Like cd&kids little 5 year old, I found myself VERY ILL last January while at OKW. I have severe seafood allergies and I think I ate something that had a seafood base without knowing. Anyway, it happened to be my birthday and even tho' I have 32 years on that little girl my Mom was nice enough to by me a denim button down shirt with a little mickey embroidered on the pocket that I really wanted but wouldn't spend the money on myself. Thanks Mom!! :D

The thing I found that I love the best is just a simple heart necklace with Jasmine on it.. It has my daughters name on it, actually spelt the way I spell her name, AIMEE... I am heading back in about 3 weeks with no kids and hoping to find something again with her name on it.. will keep it to give to her on her birthday in October..

I just returned from WDW a couple of weeks ago and miss it like crazy. Of course, there are so many things that I wish I'd picked up while I was there, but I guess it gives me an excuse to go back soon.....
I did however pick up a limited edition sketch while I was there and I am so happy that I did. I had debated not getting it because, framed, it was $72 US and being from Canada, that's more like $115 for me. It was a sketch I got from Epcot of Figment. I was there opening day to ride Journey Into Imagination and had one of only 100 sketches drawn.

My favourite thing has to be the mickey etched glasses and wine glasses. Friends ask to use them when visiting.

2 Things I can think of!
First was a Christmas gift from my DH to me as a surprise! It was Christmas 2000 and I had just lost a "TON" of weight LOLOLOLOL and finally fit into regular clothes. I have wanted a sweater from Norway for ages but could never fit into it. Well, on this trip I tried it on and it fit! A medium even! I was so happy until I saw the price.....$225.00. It was a Dale of Norway Sweater, pure wool with Pewter buttons and all hand-made. It was beautiful! Well, later that night on Christmas Eve a package was delivered to our room and it was all wrapped up and guess what it was! I will never forget that great gift.
Second was a gift for our son who is now 17 but this was a few years back when the Lion King was just released. I am not sure of the year. But we had purchased the stuffed animals at the Disney Store when they came out. He had quite a collection. All of them except one...the HUGE Mufasa ( or it could be the adult Simba) but never the less it was over $100.00 and we only saw one of them in WDW during our trip that year. But of course we did not get it and said we could pick it up later. But alas....later came and it was gone! Our DS was heartbroken. This was the only one he needed to complete his collection of 15 or so. We contacted Concierge at the BC where we were staying and they went on a mission for us and on our last day located one at MGM. We were checking out so we drove over to MGM and they had it sent to the front store and we never mentioned it to our son that we were goimg for that. He thought we neeede another T-Shirt. Well, you should have seen his face when they brought it out! We have a video of it and it is priceless! It was almost bigger than him! That was the highlight of that trip for us all!
My favorite things are from AKL gift shop. Not so much for what they are but for what I learned about the culture when I bought them. I have a color print of African people dancing and playing instruments. I met the artist, Bushman #1 is the name he goes by, who spent hours talking with me over the course of my trip there. He explained so much about his culture. It was beautiful. I have the framed print hanging in my bedroom. It is very special to me. I love the colors and the movement in the print.

Still just over a month before we go, not sure what goodies we will come back with but I would love to have more infoon the glass block with the picture etched in. This is our DD's first time and what a memory that will be. It would be great to have her picture in the block so we can see her at Disney every day.

The things that I've enjoyed most that I've bought at Disney World are three. In some eyes they might not be the "nicest" (esp. since in one case they can be bought elsewhere), but they have given me the most pleasure:
1. The Encyclopedia of Disney Animated Characters, by John Grant -- bought in souvenir shop at the Contemporary Resort
2. T-shirt: "The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror -- Understand the Gravity of the Situation" -- bought at ToT gift shop, natch
3. The Walt Disney World Official Album. This may be my favorite of all of them, in its own way, because each time I listen to it, I return to the park in my mind.

When we were there in April we gave each one of our DS 100. Disney Dollars. Ds 13 really got into pins and used most of his money on that. Ds 10 hadnt used much of his money so at the end of the trip he asked for his money to buy some gifts. He wanted to get something for me. I fugured a Tink magnet or keychain. Well, no way!! Nothing but the best for his mom. He borrowed a couple more bucks from dad and purchased and had mailed home a BEAUTIFUL surprise for me. A Tink on the Castle globe that not only plays music, it lights up!!! Oh its on my mantle and whenever someone comes over I light it up to show it off. He is so proud!!! when we got home he had to show all his friends what he bought!! DS 16 friend even noticed it and commented on how expensive those are!!!

One of the things I really treasure was free . . .did anyone else save the embossed 25th Anniversary poster that was given away at the MK in 1997??
Brought it home, had it matted and framed, and now it hangs proudly in my house. Really love the poster . . . but have to admit I really hated what they did to the castle that year  !!

We went to DTD the day after we saw the Share a Dream Come True Parade. The first store we went to was the Disney Store and the first thing my 5 year old Disney Princess Freak DD saw was the Snow Globe that looked just like the float in the parade. It was a must have for her!!! It was an expensive gift for her but everytime I see it in her Disney Princess Decorated Room - I remember all the wonderful things from our 1st trip to WDW. It was worth every penny!!! ;)

What a neat thread! :)
I have more than one "nicest thing": my favorite plush Eeyore, bought at the Disney Store at MCO -- they don't make them anymore, and I've never seen one w/a cuter face (tho' he's getting a little nappy from being hugged so much! LOL); my Waterford Crystal Spaceship Earth w/the 2000 logo; and my Radko Cinderella Castle ornament.
I don't even have to ask dh what his favorite is: an LE Lily Belle engine and tender car w/a piece of Walt's original backyard railroad track mounted inside the case. Bought it at Art of Disney for more money than I care to recall. ;)

I have 2 expensive items that I love. The first is an Arribas Bros. crystal Tinker Bell my DH gave to me one Christmas...I have her seperated from all my other Disney figurines, she's right next to a lamp to pick up all the colors under her. My other favorite item is the Disney dishes my DH and I picked out right after we got married. Not too many people have Mickey on their dinner plates! :) And I was smart enough to buy 12 of each, spares in case of the enevitable breakage!
But, my most favorite, by far, Disney item cost maybe $3. My DD, when she was 3, took her daddy out to get me a mother's day gift. It was a child's Tick Tock wallet and she couldn't wait to show me all the places for change and dollar bills. I will cherish it forever! :)

I got the ears at a cart outside of Lion King at AK near the character meets. We were there at the end of October so I don't know if they are still there even though it is summer.
I think I also saw them at DD Christmas store. I got the wedding veil and top hat ones there for my tree.
Hope this helps:D

My boyfriend for Christmas got me a Hollywood Tower Hotel bathrobe, and I just love it. It's big and fluffy and comfortable.
Really, I prefer the HTH merchandise to the Tower of Terror stuff. It's more in keeping with the theme, and the theme is what I love about Tower.

Nifty topic. Hmmmmm.....lets see. Last year (2001) at MGM at the jewelry store (don't remember the name) they had stainless steel rings with the mickey ears imprinted on them in just one place. I luv it cuz it is a discreet mickey souvenir and when people ask to see the ring they are surprised to see the mickey ears. I also luv the Italian carnival masks in Italy. So far I have 2.

Hey Roque, that ring is part of the set of my favorite necklace and bracelet!! I know what you mean about it being subtle-- that's part of the appeal for me as well. Love this thread. Let me add my three favourites:
1. My classic Winnie the Pooh Pin Set, mounted and framed. My DD bought it for me from the Art of Disney Shop as a surprise. It graces my office wall beautifully.
2. My little Tinkerbell (the one on a wire with a suction pad at the end). She hangs near my rear view mirror and reminds me every day of the magic of Disney.
3. My CD of the Candlelight Processional. I loved my evening there. I play it at Christmas, close my eyes and pretend I'm still there....................................

I am a watch lover, collector, just plain love watches.
A few trips back Hubby got me one of those artists drawn watches.
The artist personalized it for me and I have a print of the larger image.
I wore it all the time for months. It is one of my favorite watches, I don't wear it as often because I don't want it to start showing wear. It is to much of a keepsake to me.
Plus, I need to cycle through all my other watches;) .

Snow White LLadro......I ordered it from the Emporium when I was a CM at TDS so I could get the discount...It was quite expense so the discount helped....
Well when it arrived it was the wrong Snow White figurine....I was so frustrated it took quite a few phone calls to straighten the it out and get the correct one shipped...I payed so much I didn't want just any figurine!!!!
I went on a trip to WDW a few months later and saw the Snow White Figurine that they had the NERVE of sending me rather than the one I really wanted....The price tag was about 3X's more then the one I actually purchased....I thought they had sent me a lousy low life figurine and in reality it was better then the one I actually got......Guess I shouldn't have been so snotty about the Snow White I got..:D

Ok, it wasn't me, it was my parents but still...my dad had been eyeing this dark green (jade?) bar from the Japan pavillion for a few years, it has the Japanses women in traditional dress on the front and several hidden cabinets for various liquor, glasses, etc. it's about 4 feet high by 3 feet wide. It's really nice and probably a couple of thousand at least.

The best purchase I made at WDW was a hand-cut silhouette (spelling?) of my daughter at MK. It is a precious, one-of-a kind picture and I was amazed at how quickly the artist worked. I thought the artist would project a shadow and trace it, but she just looked at my DD and cut it free-hand. Very cool!
I had two made and gave one to my grandmother for christmas. My DD was 4 yrs old and I plan to have another made in a few years. Best $10 I ever spent in the park!

Although I have always bought lots of nice things in WDW in the past...this past trip with Mickey76 we bought the nicest things. Even though we don't live together yet....we bought stuff that we know will someday be ours in our house or apartment.
The nicest thing that comes to mind is the Mickey picture we bought. It's the picture of just his head smiling with yellow background. In the 2002 WDW vacation planning video it's shown quickly in a book.
The other really nice thing we bought was a Mickey lamp. This thing moves and talks.........it's so adorable. We bought other nice things too.......but those were the nicest in my opinion.
Oh and one thing I forgot....I have never gotten mouse ears (the traditional ones) until this trip......we both got one with our names on the back......that was pretty nice!

I wonder what I'll buy this year?

The nicest thing we've bought (so far) is the Waterford crystal Mickey ears we got in 2000. They make us smile every time we look at them.

Hi, Jules!
I believe each framed silhouette was $10. The frame is a hard plastic black oval.
The silhouette artist was located near the ice cream shop on Main Street in MK. I actually got the idea from these boards before we went to the Millenium celebration at WDW in Dec 2000.
Mine is hanging on the wall in my formal dining room. My DD
looks just like an antique cameo. I love it!

On our honeymoon we bought a framed pencil drawing of The Duchess and Thomas O'Malley signed by the artist.
Also, an old original movie poster of The Arisocats at that little store in MGM as you go in the main gate to the left.

Oops, almost forgot, in December of 2000 when the Millenium village was up, I bought a black jewelry box for my mom from Korea for Christmas, it had a white egret looking bird and a blazing reddish orange sunset behind it- the box had a lacquered look to it and the bird/sunset looked pearlescent in nature (probably mother of pearl?)- it's really pretty. I should have bought one for myself-dang!

1.I collect Disney snowglobles. On our last trip my DH and DS bought me a three layer snowglobe about WDW. now they sell it at the Disney store.
2. On our first trip DS, with DH help, bought me a fresh water pearl necklace.

Does anyone have any additional information on the crystal blocks. Cost? Location? I think I saw them at Epcot when we were there last but are they located anywhere else? Would love to get one of my DD on our next trip. Thanks!

I bought a pair of pearl earrings at a shop in MGM. These earrings had two loops of 14K gold and were actually a not so hidden Mickey. Well, I wanted them for myself but I gave them to my SIL for her birthday, she loved them.
Next trip I went to buy some for myself and there were none to be found. It was only a couple of months later, too.
I've learned my lesson. If I want something for myself that I see at WDW I'm just going to buy it, otherwise I am likely to never have it :(

DH and I had our first trip together in December 2000. We decided to buy an ornament from every country in Epcot to put on our Christmas tree. Well not every country had ornaments to purchase so we improvised. We have a silver spoon from United Kingdom and a miniature Eifel tower from France. Every year since we remember with fondness our first experience there together. Leaving tomorrow with DH and DS 18 mnths old(our little souvenier) to experience it all again.

My sterling silver, rhinestone, Mickey pinky ring. Bought it at Downtown Disney. Got a size 4 which fit in Florida, but when I returned to the 5 degrees in Michigan, it slipped right off at some point and I never found it.:( E-mailed DD store to buy a size 3 (daughter & I both saw them there) but they say the smallest size if 4. ~:( ~

Its fun reading everyone's things....except for the jewlery.
We bought that dark green crystal stuff in the German place. A vase, a pitcher, glasses, real nice stuff and it looks real good...we at least it did.
We moved to Fla six years ago, our house down here is nowhere near the size of our NY home. We have had our dining room in storage for six years....with all that cool stuff.
Also in storage is one of those porcelein statue things from italy.
We will eventually get it back

Let's see, there are the colorful carved wooden beads from Pirates of the Carribbean--and the green crystal goblets from Germany--and the cannister of Garden View Blend tea from the Grand Floridian--how can we choose? We'll just have to go back to judge all the selections again! (But we're not getting anything in France).

My favorite piece has to be the resin figure of Mickey and the Firefighter. I was thrilled to see that it was affordable as it was because I would have paid 3 times the price willingly. We bought it at the Main Street Gallery during our September trip.
We also have a tradition of picking up at least one nice Christmas ornament each year that we go. I loved the one from this year with tourist Minnie and Mickey that says "Our Disney Vacation" and has Tink spreading pixie dust as she flies around the ball. It was a neat reminder of our awesome vacation.
The piece the I just have to have on the next trip is the Lilo & Stitch sericel "Viva La Hula" but I am thinking that I will buy it before we travel, store it, make an excuse for not buying it while we are there, and then come home and find it under the tree. I think my honey will love it. Mickey

I think owning the nicest thing I ever bought at WDW has brought new awareness and changed the minds of alot of people I know about what WDW is like.
A couple of years agoat Epcot's UK, I bought a small Lulu Guiness bag. When I saw the display -I was really surprised. I don't think at the time here in the midwest any of the department stores were carrying them. (they do now.) Those things are pretty expensive - but I found a very simple little shell - shaped clutch with rosebuds embroidered in it. I treasure it! And when people ask where I got it and I say WDW, I can tell they are surprised at how good the shopping is there!

What a fun post! Shopping is one of my favorite things to do at WDW. My most treasured find is a Tinkerbell pin, done in Swarovski crystals, that I bought in the jewelry store on Main Street in MK. I wear it whenever I need some extra pixie dust (remember when they used to sell that, too, in the little bottles?).

Where is the best place to find nice jewlery? My DH said he would buy me a nice mickey ring. I said only if I reach my goal of losing 28 pounds before our next trip. I need some motivation. Is the jewelry store on Main Street the best?

The thing I enjoy the most is actually pretty simple. I bought three different packages of the WDW pens, the ones that have five fat ink pens in a package for $10. I keep them all in a container beside the telephone. Every time I take a phone message or sign a field trip permission form ;) , I think of WDW and smile. :)

The most expensive thing we've ever bought at WDW was dinner at Victoria & Albert's! LOL
But... let's see... we buy Christmas ornaments each trip, my DH usually comes home with a whole new TIGGER wardrobe after each trip, a 25th anniversary print of the castle by a Japanese artist on our 2001 trip, a 2000 print with a ton of the characters with each park represented, our Mickey & Minnie bride & groom ears which we had personalized, and my DH's TIGGER grill apron that I bought him last trip.
We LOVE to shop!!

What a fun thread. I have enjoyed reading about everyone else's favorite, so here are mine:
1. Stuffed Minnie for DDthen3. We got her in FW on our last day in the parks. Not the giant one, but a pretty good sized one. All around WS, Minnie road in the stroller all buckled in while DD walked most of it. Minnie had to be comfy (and safe!)
2. A bottle of wine from each country that sells it in WS. Hard to do if flying, but awesome if driving!!!

I had to laugh at this comment added by jwsqrdplus2 .
I remember on our first trip to WDW, my younger sister and I both got a pretty big Minnie and a Mickey.I loved those toys, and i thought I was really great!
Anyway, they took up too much room in the luggage, so I had to carry them through the airport and they would have to be my "carry - ons" on the plane.
The only problem was that my little sis (6), totally refused to carry them, so there i was, walking through the terminal and checking on to the plane with these FOUR HUGE MICE!!!!
I sure got some funny looks, but most just laughed at me!
By the way, I still have those MICE in my bedroom!

We ( DH, me and DD ( 2 at the time)) all picked an oyster in Japan and had the resulting pearls set in a pendant for me. My husband's was normal looking, DD's was normal but HUGE and mine was a beautiful pewter color. The CM made a big deal about mine and DD's which was fun. I wore it everyday until the bale broke. Now I am afraid to wear it and have not had time to fix it. It reminded me of that trip each day...and it was beautiful! This trip we will do the same but maybe have DD's put in her own setting for special times.
This trip we are starting a charm bracelet for DD. we will pick a charm from each park we go to. I have one that we built for years when I was little and I cherish it.

We were among the brave souls at WDW during the Millennium celebration.
During the week between Christmas and NYE, they had a special sericel at MGM for sale. Not only is it a wonderful momento, they had seven Disney animators there to sign the matting! It was such a thrill to meet these talented people.:D

My DH surprised me with a beautiful silk kimono type robe from "Japan", which I love. Our favourites are also T shirts and Mickey Mouse Watches.
The best thing though for me is the Freesia perfume that I bought in Epcot Britian. I bought it when we were in WDW on our honeymoon, and I wore it then. Whenever I wear it now it transports me to WDW and our beautiful honeymoon. Everytime I go I buy another bottle so I never run out!

I have enjoyed reading this thread. I tend to buy the usual t-shirts, the yearly Christmas ornament and small things like pens and rulers. My dd always gets her face painted and this past year she started with the hair wrap.
Since we go every year I wanted to find one thing to collect, that is somewhat costly, and have that be our "treat." I think I found it, there is a store in Epcot right next to Spaceship Earth that sells what looks like Lenox character figurines. Well, this May I plan to start my collection and buy one. That will be the most expensive item that I ever purchased at Disney. I did buy some tankards from MK back in 94 that are really cute, but I am now older and have a finer appreciation for Lenox!

That is so true! You never know if you'll see it again. I feel very fortunate that I got the set that I wanted because I lusted for far too long before sucumbing.
JRoglitz, no one jewelry store is "the best," but if you can only get to one I'd go to the World of Disney at DD and check out their jewelry department. If you have time, though, look through every jewelry store there, including the little jewelry counters in some of the resort stores. You never know what they'll have that you haven't seen yet. It's especially fun when you have a specific thing you're looking for, like you do. Good luck on the weight loss!

On our last trip I bought a beautiful wooden lion wind chime at my favorite park - can you guess which? Of course, AK! The wind chime is quite large and they wrapped it up nicely so it wouldn't get smooshed on our long train ride home. After this long winter, we finally got a nice day to open up the windows and I was so glad to hear those bamboo chimes. I was right back in Harambe!

One item, which I actually didn't purchase (my dad and brother went and brought it back for me) was a Classic Pooh clock, I'm guessing from the shop in UK at World Showcase...it is wonderful and I love it (we put it in our Classic Pooh nursery).
The second, I found at MGM, a Mickey Mouse watch. The band looks like Mickey's clothes, and over the face is a Mickey hand that you lift to see the time! My boys always want to play with it, so I rarely wear it, but I'll have it on for this next trip!

Oh gosh, I've bought so many things at WDW...especially when I was on the college program with a 20% discount plus access to property control! At property control, they sell damaged merchandise to CMs for 75% off! I spent over $100 there so you can imagine how much I bought. Sometimes the damage is as little as a spot on a t-shirt that comes out in the wash. I have the cutest Disney shirts that I got both from there and from the park itself. One of my favs, I bought while on vacation last year- a bright pink shirt with picture of Belle pointing off to the side with her thumb. It says "I'm with the Beast" hehehe. I saw it and just had to have it! I got much attention when I wore it at the parks because it's so bright.
The most expensive thing I bought was a $150 Belle statuette from the art gallery on Main Street. I'd never ever bought something like that before. I spent a good hour in that store staring at the figure in the glass case trying to talk myself out of splurging. Needless to say, it didn't work!

Ive bought so many things there. Its a huge buying oppurtunity, heehee. But my favorites would have to be a tinkerbell watch with pretty little diamonds all around the edge and a small minnie stuffed animal dressed in a kimona (a small thing but soo cute). I keep all of my memorbilla on shelves above my desk. Like a tribute to the wonderful place!:)

I think the most special things are the two silhouettes of my son at age 3 and age 6. Believe me, I intend to add more over the years, but right now, they hang on either side of my dining room and always remind me of our trips. I also like the Tinkerbell jacket I got last visit (Oct. 02). It's just a navy nylon jacket with a sweatshirt type lining and a big embroidered Tinkerbell on the back and small one on the front. I love it, but I cannot believe all the complinents it draws and covetous people who have stopped me!

On our honeymoon in June 96, my husband and I bought a family crest framed piece in DD - it had the family crests for both of our families and our wedding date. As a freebie, the CM included the history on both families, and we have all three framed and hanging in our diningroom. I remember the CM being so nice, and it was a very special momento of our first days as Mr & Mrs.
We also purchased a brick outside MK and most every trip we go and visit it! We lucked out because our brick is way down the path toward the GF, but since they never connected the GF with MK via the walking path, it doesn't get much wear, and it is a nice peaceful walk for the two of us to see our brick!

Mine was from the Art of Disney. I saw the Mickey and Walt Partner's statue and loved it! But not at the price which was over $300. My mom was with me, and she left the store for a minute, talked on the phone outside and came back in and said we'll take it! My parents gave it to me for Christmas (although I am not allowed to physically have it until I buy my first house! :D )

The last time I was at WDW I bought a Christopher Radko Castle ornament. It is beautiful. I also collect charms for a bracelet that was started for me over 30 years ago. I fell in love with these Waterford toasting glasses at the Art of Disney in DTD. They match the Lismore crystal pattern, but have subtle Mickeys on them.

I bought a nucracker (the toy soldier from the Nutcracker) at the Germany pavilion in Epcot. I collect Steinbach nutcrackers, and I almost fainted when I discovered that Herr Steinbach himself was there signing his nutcrackers. I was so thrilled you would have thought it was Tom Cruise or something, LOL! :teeth: I really cherish it. :)
